Coronation Prep

Alisha's POV

A few weeks have passed since Justin's incident. We found out that the professor was a part of Caitlyn's previous pack. She now lives here with us as our Beta Female. Yes, she is Mark's mate. Today Lilliana, Caitlyn and I are going shopping for the Coronation tonight. I dressed and kissed my mates' goodbye before walking out the door of their office. We have to have guards with us at all times because of the attack the happened at the university and the Pack Palace. Zak, Dominic, and Roy drove with us to the shopping center. We drove to Pacific Fair and found a spot close to the entrance. We grabbed our bags from the SUV and us girls smiled at each other. The boys groaned behind us and we laughed at them. 

"Why couldn't Justin, Daniel, and Mark go instead of us?" Zak whined like a two-year-old. 

"Because my men are royal and are going to be busy setting up for tonight." I explained. We walked through the outside shops but nothing caught our eyes. Once we were inside, one little shop caught Lilly's attention. 

"Welcome to Harts. How can I help you today?" The young lady was bright and lovely.

"We have a formal party tonight," I spoke up. The young lady walked around the shop pointing out some amazing dresses. We picked some dresses off the racks and quickly dashed to the dressing rooms. I went through all the dresses that I picked out but one. I tried on this lavender/violet dress that was short at the front and floor-length at the back. From under the bust down was ruffled and I instantly fell in love with it. I quickly bought the dress and waited for my two besties. Lilliana and Caitlyn bought their dresses but they weren't as flashy as mine. I walked over to a jewelry store and searched for a set of diamond earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. I heard Zak sigh behind me and I rolled my eyes and kept looking. I found the perfect set and bought it. We walked back outside and I walked into Steve Madden shoe store. I found the perfect black stiletto heels for the dress. In less than nine hours I will be the queen of the Australian Packs. The royal family have palaces all over Australia so it was easier to move but the pack has root ties here. We jumped into the 4x4 and drove back to Tamborine to get ready. Caitlyn and I slid out of the car and into our mates waiting arms. Poor Lilliana, she has seen her mate in her visions but could never locate him. Lilly has never described him to me before but that wasn't my business. We may be best friends but we have to keep some secrets to ourselves. Zak opened the boot of the car and started handing out shopping bags to us. Daniel tried to sneak a look in my bags. 

"You can't see anything I bought until it is time. Don't bother checking the card trails. I drew money out down the mountain before going shopping." I smiled at him and giggled at his shocked expression. I brushed my lips over his and headed over to Justin. I brush my lips over his as well and left for Lilly's room. After Lilly and I moved in we did up her bedroom with light pink and mint green walls and cream carpet for the floor. She had a four-poster bed with pink and green bedding to match the walls. The canopy above the bed was pure white. Lilly also had a vanity dressing table, bedside tables, a modest wardrobe and a shag pile rug with four white couches around a small glass coffee table. We dumped our bags on her large bed. I called dibs on the last shower so I could help the other two get ready. First was Caitlyn, after ten minutes the shower stopped running and she took her sweet time in the bathroom. Another five minutes passed and Caitlyn walked out of the bathroom. Lilly covered every mirror in the bathroom. Lilly started on Caity's make-up and I dealt with her wild curls. I walked over to one of Lilly's draws in her bathroom and grabbed the straightening and curling iron. I straightened for an hour before I reached for the scolding curling iron. I gave Lilly the go-ahead for her shower while I finished Caitlyn's hair. Half an hour later I had finished and Lilly stepped out of the shower. Caitlyn and I moved on to Lilly's hair and makeup. Luckily we knew the colour of each other's dresses. Lilly's dress was royal blue. It had a sweetheart neckline and a plunging back that ended just above her hips. I mixed a royal blue and light gold eyeshadow, added a little mascara because her lashes were so dark and long, a bit of eyeliner to make her eyes stand out and light pink lipgloss to finish. Caitlyn curled Lilly's hair to perfection. I left to have my shower. I stripped off my grimy clothing and turned on the taps waiting for the water to heat up. I hopped in the shower and washed clean. I shaved what needed shaving and washed my long black hair. I quickly scooted out of the heavenly shower and dried my body and hair. I walked out in a mint green robe and sat in the torture chair of hair and makeup. Two hours later Lilly and Caitlyn finished. I gave up trying to get lily to uncover the mirrors. It was time to get dressed. Caitlyn and Lilly took the large bathroom and I took Lilly's room. Once dressed we added our shoes and jewelry. Evergean came into check on us. She held out my diamond tiara. I lent over so she could place the sparkly tiara on my head. I thanked her and turned around to find every mirror uncovered.
I slowly walked over to one of the full-length mirrors. I really didn't recognise myself. My blue eyes were brighter, the dress hugged my curvy figure. I had long diamond earrings and a necklace to match and my intricately designed diamond incrusted tiara adorning my head. My hair fell in loose curls around my face. I ran over to Lilly and Caitlyn and hugged them. Everything was perfect. It was tradition that the father escorts the queen to be down to the ceremony but because my father passed away Justin's father offered to do it. I was grateful for him stepping in, I didn't want to walk down there alone. Before the coronation, we are accepting Caitlyn and Lilly into our pack.

"It's time." Dustin announced as he strode in in his black tux. His eyes roamed over each of us and then landed on his mate. The walk down to the ceremony started like a wedding, Caitlyn and Lilly left before me.

"Your father would be proud of you, Alisha," Evergean stated. I looked up and smiled hoping that my parents were watching me today and that they are proud of what I have done with my life. Caitlyn slowly descended the grand staircase. Mark was waiting for her at the bottom with an amazing smile and love shining in his hazel eyes. When she reached the bottom he held his arm out for Caitlyn to wind her arm through his and exited the foyer to the back garden where the ceremonies would be held. Lilliana was next to descend. Zak was waiting for Lilly because obviously, she doesn't have her mate yet. Every pack from New South Wales and Queensland was invited so hopefully with any luck Lilly will find her mate over the next two day. Lilly and Zak had left and now it was my turn. I was shaking and holding on to Dustin for dear life. We were at the bottom before I knew it and we were heading out to the gardens.

"Relax Alisha. Everyone will love you." Dustin whispered.

"Do you really think so? Rouges are after me because of what I am." I whispered back. I looked up to the stage to see Evergean, Justin and Daniel. My mates were staring at me with a mixture of emotions swimming in their blue and green eyes. I could see pride, hope, love, adoration and lust. Just looking at them calmed my nerves down quite a bit. Caitlyn and Lilliana had joined them on stage waiting to be pronounced as part of the royal pack.
