Mara Tulianne Louasie Te-Lang was a dark brown haired spanish, malaysian and maltese woman, who was married to Xiang Te-Lang, a very wealthy Chinese man, and loved to use her three nationalities as possible points. She was as laid back as she was a slight problem, allowing a scandal to seed and then leaving it for her gardeners to take care of while she promptly forgot about it, literally(of course, until she was asked to then speak about it; magically her memory would fly back to her). And she was sauntering right into Yasmie's hall, a billion dollar smile on her face, and on her children's "Yaya! Yaya!" Sacré Bleu. "Yaya, you really outdid yourself this time. I could never do this!" Something was off about that last part, but Yasmie decided to file it away. "I brought the kids too! Veki-Lou, Danial, Noumara and Jan, say hi to Yaya!" "Hi Yaya!" And then there were her children. In oldest to youngest, Jan, Saveki-Louisa(Veki-Lou), Danial and Noumara. Saveki was about Jaqueline and Adele's age, and disliked being called Saveki. "It makes me sound shallow, less deep than I actually am," That was her reasoning behind it. She liked to be called either the traditional Saveki-Louisa, or Veki-Lou. Anything else was very much unacceptable. About her being shallow, well she tried not to be. But mostly her deep quotings and activism unfortunately made her look pretentious. To give you an example, she could protest the one percent and how they took everything and how communism was an ideology that could only be created by visionaries. After her protests, she would end it with a wonderful shopping spree at Chanel and Louis Vuitton with her friends. Jan was fairly moderate, if it wasn't for his slightly holier-than-thou attitude. Couldn't be helped, he inherited it from his father, of which he spent a lot of his time with as a child. Noumara was Jack's age, and is named this because, in the words of her mother, "She is like me, but born again." Jack seemed to really like Nou, if you just happened to believe trying to throw wet sand on the white dresses she always wore a sign of attraction. Danial was Maggie's age, and enjoyed romancing other girls his age, no matter what she looked like or who she was(plus ten points for inclusivity, at least). "Yasmie, where is everybody, I hardly see anyone here!" Mara's children snickered, and there was a reason for it. Yasmie was no stranger to this jab. Though more commonly used among the rich folk, she had first heard this at one of her parties, again she was 16 at the time. A rather known(and slightly wealthy) parent came to drop her child off and said almost the exact comment to her mother. She immediately knew she was being mocked in a way, but it was truly understood when she reached her current level. It was an insult to say your party is lacking. That they've seen better. Much better than the apparent drivel their eyes were being subjected to. Unfortunately for Mara, she just happened to only be standing at the entrance hall, this is where she chatted with the Lumiens earlier, and was not really a legitimate room, more like a connection. "Ah non non Mara, that is because you are only at the entrance. Come, let me take you inside." This was a double-kill; if Mara thought that this was the final room, well then it just was that stunning, something that wouldn't make Mara happy. Yasmie took that into her victory mental folder. And there it was. The Pelletienne summer party(?) in all of its more-like-a-commemorational-ceremonial-event-ish glory. The Te-Lang's mouths were slightly gaping, much to Yasmie's pleasure. Xiang was very haughty. So it was nice to see him in a state of possible humility. "Would you like to see Joseph, Xiang?" Yasmie inquired sweetly, pretending to not get a lick of what was going on. "Oh, ah, yes please Yasmie," he answered, still slightly flustered.
