It was a perfect cloudy day, and that was the only time Janie Luera could be seen outside now. Yes, in recent times(oddly enough, shortly after Maddie arrived) Janie had made more appearances, and some sort of divide was about this issue. On one side, people were happy to see Janie out. They never thought her staying inside was good for her. "Good on her," some would say(inside closed doors, of course).. "All that darkness isn't good. She needs fresh air." And then there were others. The others didn't really think it was horrible for her to come outside. Actually, that's a possible lie. There were sections of the other side: the ones that didn't really care(obviously not your usual 'I don't care' stance,) and the ones who believed that she shouldn't be able to show her face, after all, Yui ended her; cancelled her if you will.

"I can't believe it," Yasmie had said, her white-gloved hand slightly covering her mouth. A group of ladies had congregated near her garden, watching her like some sort of lovesick men. Except unlike the lovesick men, the intentions were not as lovely, and there would be no songs to serenade Janie, just whispers of disbelief and some of slight disgust. It was a shame really. If she had just gone into hiding spontaneously then people would be swarming her with gifts and food; but alas, that was not the case. "What is she doing here?" Mara's voice of strong Chinese-style disappointment cut through the silence. "I suppose she's just getting a breath of fresh air, you know, tending to her flowers and all. Maybe it's therapy." Madeleine said, with no regard as how that might affect her. "Euh, mais Maddie," one Tuli Woods started, "You're new, so you might not know how things work-" "I do actually. I am rather aware that Meixiu's sister has removed her from her circle, and therefore allowing social exile to consume her. But why can't she be outside? After all, it's her house. Technically speaking we shouldn't even be here. Is it our house?" And with that Maddie did the unexpected; she walked away. And to everyone's suprise, some people, Louise Harte, Ashely Cenko and even Tuli Woods included, walked back with her.

It seemed, that Madeleine Lumien, officially had an entourage.

"Maddie! That was a serious risk!" Yasmie came to the Lumien household three days after the incident, mainly out of worry that she might've been lynched. "Psh, what risk? The real risk was Janie calling her security." Yasmie gave the couple a look of disbelief. "Actually, the nice ladies that followed me out of there came over for tea. They're very nice." Maddie said, while drinking a cup of tea. She couldn't believe it. Tea? After what happened? Maddie may not be so helpless after all.
