Jaqueline was new. There was no doubt. So naturally when Vanessa Sanchez invited her to her party, she had no idea who she was. This shocked Vanessa; because everyone, even those that were new, knew her immediately. Having this french girl not know who she was was a new concept. "It doesn't matter. Just...will you be there?" "I'll have to think about it. Au revoir." And the door was shut in her face.
"Should I go?" Jaqueline decided to ask Adele for help. Niella didn't go to the parties on the west side of the neighbourhood(and most of the time she was in the Netherlands). Adele was here longer and Jacky's best bet in almost anything Niella didn't know. However, Adele was biased. Not only was she not a fan of Vanessa, but she HATED the west side of the neighbourhood. Adele's mother had a saying: "Anyone with some level class is rich, even if they don't have money." If that saying was true, the west side was as poor as Detroit. Adele couldn't lie, the backstabbing that happened in her side of the neighbourhood was scary, but at least you couldn't HEAR it from your bedroom
So maybe Adele was not the best person to ask. But Jacky had received the idea that all other people her age were not interested in speaking to her at the moment or they decided they didn't like her. Again, Adele was her best bet. "Well, she gave you the invitation personally, so the party is probably for you. You know, like maman did for your mother." Jaqueline nodded her head. "Possibly. So do you suggest I go?" "I'm not friends with her, so I'm not the person to ask. I'm attending only because the people from the east side are going, and it'd be a nice opportunity to have a night out." Jaqueline was now wishing that Niella was here. They were practically the same person; there was rarely a time they disagreed. But she was in Holland doing a load of interviews, and she couldn't very well call her because 1) Adele, annoyingly, was still here, and 2) her interviews were broadcast live and later put online, and the embarrassment Jacky would feel knowing she called her during broadcasting was something she didn't really want to think about. Oh well, she'd just have to go to the party. Whether she liked it or not.
"Jaja! Thanks for coming!" Jaqueline's new nickname was spreading like wildfire, and that disturbed her, especially since up until the morning she visited, Vanessa Trinity Sanchez did not exist. Jaqueline was now coming to terms with her new surroundings; privacy was a luxury nobody here could afford, even if their security was top of the line. Wanting to dismiss the increasingly disturbing thoughts in her head, she tried to find something to distract her; and that person was Vanessa. Suddenly, Jaqueline believed that she was underdressed. While Jacky wore a specially designed low-collared cream dress with diamonds rimming the top and bottom, a red bulgari eyes necklace and the lowest louboutins she could find, Vanessa wore a tightfitting dress with a red outlined slit to make it noticeable in it's black background. Her heels were red-bottomed, and said heels made it impossible to tell her actual height. A gold tipped choker and gold hoop earrings accentuated her look. Actually, now that she thought about it, maybe she was OVERdressed, as many other girls seemed to mirror Vanessa's style. "I'll get you settled and..." Vanessa's attention had been redirected to a handsome boy with scruffy brown hair.
"Oh, Cameron! Mi amor, I'm so glad you came!" As Vanessa had now left and was obviously not coming back, Jaqueline was now left to her own devices, and decided to look around. For one thing she was outside, and the ground was nicely paved. The party seemed to continue into Vanessa's house, or what seemed like it-there seemed to be two plots conjoined.
After walking for a bit, she spotted Adele(of who she wasn't entirely sure what she was doing here), and since she had really no one else to talk to, she called out to her. "Jacky! Come, what are you doing here? I love your dress, it's beautiful! Allez, we have friends!" She led her to a very white well-lit place, and Jaqueline recognised some of the people, in fact, these people were not from this side of the neighbourhood. All heads turned to Adele, and then Jacky, and clapping then followed. Seeing her confused expression, a boy by the name of Louis Dament explained, "The party was in your honour."
Somehow, that was unnerving.
