Changbin - Love Alarm

So this is based off of the concept of the K-Drama «Love Alarm». Season 1 was released like yesterday and I might or might not have binge watched it all. But 8 episodes was not enough. I remember watching the trailer and really liking the concept, but the series itself, I don't really know how I feel about it yet. I am hoping season 2 will come soon, in hopes of it redeeming itself, cause personally I feel like season 1 was a little rushed. Cause to me everything didn't make sense. But either way I wanted to make an imagine based off of the concept.

If you haven't seen it, this is basically how it works: Love alarm is a phone app that synchronises with the heart of the person who owns the phone. If someone likes you, that also has the app, your telephone will go off if they are within a 10 meter radius of you and vice versa. If the app is off, for either you or the person who likes you, you won't get a notification even though you're within a 10 meter radius of each other.

“Do you want to download Love Alarm?” Was the words that were currently displayed on your phone. You pushed the “yes” making the app download onto your phone in seconds. Love alarm had become an incredibly popular app, and every single person in school had the app. Including your crush Seo Changbin. He was fairly popular in school, meaning that every time he entered school, his Love Alarm would go off like crazy. You could understand why, as you sadly were another one of the girls that were crushing on him, but sadly had never been noticed by him.

Walking to your next class, you turned off your Love Alarm, as you knew Changbin was in this class. You sat down and got your books out. While waiting for the rest of the students as well as your teacher, you played some games on your phone. Minutes passed and you were currently tapping furiously away on your phone, when your friend came over and snapped you out of your little world. “Class is starting any second now.” She said with a little smile, giving you a heads up so you wouldn't get scolded by the teacher again, like you had the day before. Like she had said class soon started as the teacher started talking while drawing on the blackboard. Your attention was quick to leave the teacher and look at Changbin's back instead, as he was sitting diagonally to your right, two rows in front of you.

“Since we're having a project I have partnered you up.” The teacher said making you snap back into reality as you realised you had just spent the entire class looking at Changbin. “Woojin and Jisung, Y/n and Changbin, Minho and Felix” The teacher said continuing to listing the pairs, but you didn't care about the rest, as you realised you would be spending time with Changbin. The bell rang and everyone quickly packed their bag to leave school as the day had ended. You were taking your time packing your stuff when you looked up to see Changbin standing in front of your desk. “So, do you want to do this at my house or yours?” He asked as he passed you your pencil case. You took it and put it in your backpack, zipping it up and tossing it over your shoulder.

“Yours if you don't mind. Mom is sick, and I don't want to make you sick.” You said reasoning out. He nodded. “Do you have time now?” He asked adjusting his bangs. “Yeah sure!” You said cheerfully. He then led the way out of school and to his house. You talked to him casually and got to know him more on the way, which made you appreciate your teacher for giving you this opportunity. When you finally arrived in front of his house you were shocked. “Wow! Is this your house? It's so big and elegant looking!” You said in awe. “It might look elegant, but believe me when I tell you that my family is anything but elegant.” He said as he walked inside. You couldn't help but let another “wow” slip from your mouth when you saw the interior of the house. “Mom! Dad! I'm home!” He yelled out in the house, but no one answered. “Guess they're still at work. That might be a good thing though, cause they can be quite loud.” Changbin chuckled as he showed you to the living room before leaving you alone.

You sat down in their couch making yourself comfortable when Changbin came back with a glass of water for you. “Thanks.” You said grabbing the glass, taking a sip. “Let's get started shall we?” He said opening his books and turning on his computer, ready to get the project over with already. You did the same as you started thinking about the layout and so on. Normally you hated group projects as you would always end up doing all the work, but Changbin was easy to work with and did his part. You thought about how happy you were, having fallen in love with such a genuine guy when there were so many douchebags you could have fallen for out there.

You finished the project early, compared to when the two of you had assumed you would be done. You just sat around making small talk over some cocoa he had made for you, when he suddenly mentioned Love Alarm. “Have you downloaded Love Alarm?” He asked, taking a sip of his cocoa. “Yeah, but it doesn't really live up to it's expectations in my opinion. Maybe I just had too high expectations because everyone else loves it.” You said, warming your hands on the cup. “You don't like it? Why?” Changbin asked, scooting a little closer to you. “Well no one has rung my alarm, so maybe I just haven't seen the good side of it yet. Maybe my opinion will change once someone rings it.” You answered as you leaned more into the couch.

“Is your Love Alarm on right now?” He asked, seeming oddly interested. “No, why?” You asked not understanding why he suddenly had such interest in the app. “Turn it on now.” He said smiling as he turned on his own. you realised that if you turned your on now he would get a notification that you like him. “No! I can't!” You yelled out surprising him. He jokingly took your phone turning your Love Alarm on himself. “Don't!” You yelled out, but it was already too late. He gave you back your phone and a second later you heard a ding. But to your surprise there wasn't only a single ding, there were two. Looking down at your phone in surprise you read. “Someone within your 10 meter radius likes you.” You looked back up at Changbin who was showing you his phone, where the same sentence was displayed on his phone.

“Wait, you like me?” You said totally shocked. “Yes, for quite a while now. I have tried figuring out if you like me back, but your alarm never went off when I was within your 10 meter radius Guess it was just off. But today when we got partnered up I knew I had to show you I liked you even if you didn't like me back. So I am pleasantly surprised it is not one sided.” He said grabbing your hand. You were still in quite the shock. “You're cute when you're shocked.” He said making you blush and look away. “Why me? There are so many girls that ring your alarm, so why me?” He made you look at him and quickly pecked your lips before saying. “It doesn't matter how many girls make my alarm ring, cause I will only ring yours.”
