chapter nine

In case your wondering my oc names were stolen from a really good fic on ao3 called Be As One.

Dahyun sighed as he sat down on the couch. He was exhausted, he had been at practice the whole morning and now he wanted to take a nap but her couldn't go to sleep because of-

"Daddy! Daddy! Up I want a piggyback ride!" His hyper four year old. Sana had taken Haeun with her to the mall, and had asked Dahyun to watch Saki. But, when Dahyun got home hoping to catch Saki before her afternoon nap and he could help her have them nap together, however Saki was quite the opposite. Sana had given her candy in the morning for good behavior and that had made Saki more than hyper.

"Saki..." Dahyun groaned. "Fine." Dahyun pushed himself onto his aching legs. He picked up Saki up and helped her onto his back, carrying her around the living room. "Where do you want to go?"

"The park!" Saki giggled.

"Okay..." That was a reasonable request, it was only about a two minute walk from their house and it was gated so Dahyun didn't have to worry about crazy fans. But Dahyun was exhausted, and wanted to go to sleep, not to the park. Dahyun groaned and got his hat and faces, making his daughter put on her shoes by herself. Once Saki's shoes were on Dahyun picked her up with one arm and left the house, locking the door behind him. He carried Saki to the park and used his key code to enter the gated area. He set Saki down once they reached the playground and she instantly ran up to climb the steps of the jungle gym.

"Daddy! Come on!" Saki was used to Dahyun playing with her and usually he would but he had made himself really comfortable on a park bench and ht really didn't want to move. Dahyun nodded and Saki shrugged before running up to the slide. Dahyun got his phone out to complain to Sana.

Sorry she was being so good earlier, you usually love to play with her

Babe I was at practice all day today

I know, you can get through it I'll give you kisses, and go play with her she needs you

Dahyun groaned and pushed himself off the bench, tucking his phone into his pocket before standing at the bottom of the slide.

"Daddy!" Saki smiled. "Come play with me."

"What do you want to do?" Saki thought for a second before getting off the bottom of the slide and climbing up to the top level, crawling through a bright yellow tunnel and standing over a mini rock wall. "Watch!" Dahyun nodded and watched as Said attempted to climb down and then back up. Once she was done with that she went back to the top and slide down the bright yellow fireman's pole. Dahyun made sure she didn't slip while doing that before noticing Saki's hands were looking a little red.

"Do you hands hurt from all that climbing?" Dahyun asked.

"Nope." Saki grinned. "I want to go to the top again. Dahyun nodded and Saki climbed back up, playing with some movable tiles at the top. "Daddy come here." Dahyun nodded and had to duck his head as a climbed to the top of the jungle gym, sitting with Saki at the top. He played with the tiles with Saki, the two of them playing a game of tic tac toe where Dahyun let his daughter win a game before wining one for himself. In their final tie breaker game, Dahyun let Saki win again.

"I won!" Dahyun was just happy with the smile on Saki's face.

"You did a great job." Dahyun nodded.

"Thank you!" Saki's smile really was too similar to Sana's. It made Dahyun's heart flutter.

"What do you want to do now?" Dahyun asked.
