chapter fifteen

"Saki-chan, you need to be very quiet." Dahyun told his daughter. "Nico-chan's ears are very sensitive."

"Shh." Saki put a bubble in her mouth.

"Whisper voice, okay." Saki nodded, keeping her cheeks puffed out.

"Whisper voice." Saki whispered.

"Alright, I think we are ready." Dahyun smiled, opening the door quietly. Saki instantly ran to Sana, climbing onto her hospital bed.

"Mommy!" Saki whispered. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay baby girl." Sana nodded, kissing the side of forehead.

"Is that Nico?" Saki asked, pointing to the baby un the clear plastic container.

"Yup." Dahyun smiled, sitting next to her in the bed. "Meet Nico."

"Hi Nico-chan. I'm Saki Unnie." Saki leaned over the plastic. "Mommy can she say hi?"

"She's napping." Sana laughed. "And she's a baby."

"Hi Nico-chan, I'm Haeun Unnie." Haeun looked at her baby sister.

"She's so tiny." Saki smiled.

"Yeah she's very very small." Sana nodded, hugging Saki closer. "Smaller than you and Haeun both ever were."

"Girls Nico-chan is okay for now, but she will be spending some time in the hospital until she is a bit bigger." Dahyun explained.

"Can we come see her?" Saki asked.

"Of course we can." Sana smiled. "When she is a bit bigger, you two can even hold her."

"Really?" Saki asked.

"Yup." Sana nodded. "Haeunie, come join us." Haeun nodded and laid on the bed, resting her face against Sana's shoulder.

"Thank you Sana-chan" Dahyun tapped her shoulder. "For all of this." Sana smiled as Dahyun gave her a long kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Hey guys." Dahyun greeted his friends in the lobby after the girls fell asleep from being up for most of the night. "Sorry to keep you waiting."

"It's okay dude. What happened?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Her umbilical cord was wrapped around her throat at first which made things pretty dramatic, but she's okay now. She's very tiny, so she'll be spending quite a bit of time in the hospital, but the doctors say she's mostly fine." Dahyun explained.

"That's great dude, congrats." Momo smiled at him, offering a smile.

"Thank you. Sana is ready to for visitors if you guys want to see her?" Dahyun hadn't wiped his smile off of his face yet. "Can't guarantee she will be awake for long, so now is probably the time to go see her before she passes out like she says she's about to."

"Sure." Jihyo smiled. "We'll go see her now then."

"Yup, I'm going to go find her some food before she breaks my hand... Again." Dahyun sighed.

"Does baby have a boo boo?" Nayeon cooed.

"Be quiet Nonna." Dahyun whined. "Food."

"Get her something light!" Jihyo reminded as Dahyun left.

"Of course." Dahyun nodded. "Believe it or not this isn't my first time."

"You could have fool me." Momo laughed. Dahyun laughed as he left, in search of something easy to digest for Sana. He found some soup in the hospital cafeteria, which he paid for with a smile and carried to Sana's hospital room. He checked his phone, it was very early still, around five am.

"Satang I brought soup." Dahyun smiled as he pushed open the door to her room.

"There you are." Sana smiled at him. "Come here."

"How's the little ones?" Dahyun asked.

"All asleep." Sana smiled. "Did you check on the baby?"

"I saw her briefly yes. She seems to be behaving well for the doctors."

"Can you point her out to us later?" Momo asked.

"Of course," Dahyun nodded. "Did you play nice Satang?"

"As nice as I could. I'm hungry and I just had a baby so I wasn't in the best mood."

"We understand." Mina grinned. "Which speaking of, we need to get back to our children before they wake up. Which knowing my daughter it will only be about an hour."

"But I want to see the baby." Chaeyoung whined.
