Merida and Nicki sat in the police department.  Merida was in so much trauma. She sat there weeping her eyes out of shock.

Nicki: Merida,  I just wanna say that it was a very smart move to send that text when he was about to come and poison the kids. He could've done worse

Merida: Worse? !  Don't you think this is bad enough?! He killed my...

Before she could finish her sentence she started crying.  Nicki couldn't do much beyond the matter but she tried to comfort her.

Nicki: If there's anything I could do just shout!  I will be there with you okay?

Merida nodded her head while patting her eyes with a tissue.  After a while Nicki wanted to check on the kids. She called Nia

Phone conversation:

Nicki: Hey Nia! Just wanted to check on the kids are they okay?

As nicki spoke she heard Nia and the kids screaming and crying out for help! She was shocked

Nicki: Nia?. Nia! Nia what's going on?!. Nia answer me!

Nia: HELP!!! We're trapped! My house is on fire! Help us!!! We're gonna DIE!!!

Nicki: Nia!!!! Call 911 and keep the kids close to you please I will be there right now!

Suddenly the phone went off. Nicki had no idea how serious this fire was.

I went home with the kids from the police station.  I took them into the house and got them to sleep upstairs in my room. After a minute I fell asleep as well. I was deep in my sleep and got woken up by a horrible dream.  And to this very alarming and suffocating stinch. I woke up only to find that my door was on fire! I started freaking out as I wondered how we would get out of here! The emergency exit was  in my spare room. I realized that I was trapped and had nowhere to go. I hastily looked at the kids.

"Nicki will never forgive me! But I'm gonna die anyway", I thought

Back to the present time....

Nicki was at the station. She was vigorously shaking of fright. She had to get there as soon as possible. She grabbed her keys from the counter and ran into the car. She put the key into the ignition and drove at speed 80km/h. She sped down the road and drove to Nia's house.  She pulled in to see the Firebrigade putting out the fire. She dashed out of the car and aimed for the door but as soon as she came about a meter from the doorstep an officer stepped in front, holding her back.

Nicki: Let go of me!!! My kids are in danger!  They're in there! Nia?! Nia?! Where are you Nia!

She tried to break loose from the officers arms locked around her elbows.

Officer: They have already been rushed to the hospital ma'am!  Calm down, everything will be fine.

Nicki: I want both my friend and my kids safe!

Officer: Your kids will be fine and so will your friend ma'am
