"CASSIE...CASS....CASSIE!!"
Yelled Derik from the other room.
Ugh I hate waking up in the mornings, I thought as I pulled the covers off of top of me.
"Find me some damn socks I'm gonna be late!"
Yelled Derik once again from the other room.
Man, I hate dating a bull rider sometimes they're so moody, I thought as I grabbed the pair of socks from the dresser. Derik And I's relationship is fairly new so I'm still adjusting to these 5am wake up calls.
I sighed as I sat on the couch next to him, I gave him the socks and watched as he slipped his dusty boots on.
Eventually, I got up and poured us both cups of coffee and he got over his crabbiness, we snuggled on the couch until about 5:45am and he had to leave soon to go work cows. He got up and gathered his stuff, before he left he kissed me goodbye, rubbing his rough hands on my back. I mean regardless of what I said earlier dating a bull rider does have its perks I guess.
Background: Cassie and Derik met because Cassie was one of the emergency responders at a rodeo that Derik was riding in. When Derik injured his neck after being bucked he had to be checked by paramedics and that's where they met. Derik's neck ended up being fine but him and Cassie immediately hit it off. They've been dating for about a month now.
