Merlin (UNEDITED)

Chapter 1: Part 1

I walked around with Merlin a bit. We talked occasionally, but not much. I didn't really think of myself as a full person. I treated others the way they wanted to be treated and if they needed help I tried to help. We finally got inside as someone told us the directions of apparently Gaius. Merlin looked at me then the door that stood infront of us. 

"Something looks like it's on your mind." I say as I look at him.

"Nope nothing."

"You're  a terrible liar."

I smirked as he opened the door. He knocked as he went in. I'm pretty sure that he has no mannors what so ever. I put that in the list of things to do, while I was in Camelot. I walk in slowly and see Giaus slowly falling and then stop midair. This day is the weirest day I've ever seen! I quickly thought as I watch then the matress slide over to catch Giaus. He hurriedly got of the matress over to Merlin and I.

"Who did that? What did you just do??"

"Erm" I said as I looked at the ground.

"What did one of you do?! Tell me!"

"I-I don't know what just happened." Merlin explained.

"If anyone saw that besides us three.."

"If wasn't one of us-" I began to explain.

" I know what that was! I just want to know what you two learned how to do it!"

" I didn't do anything!" I said suddenly.

"Nowhere." Merlin said.

"So how is it that you know magic?" Gaius asked impatiently.

"We don't." I said.

" Be quiet girl."

I just sat there watching Merlin get drilled with questions that Merlin answered much more calmly then I did. 

" Who are you two then?"

" Oh I have this letter." Merlin pulled out his letter.

" and you?" 

I quickly pulled out my letter also and handed it to him. 

" I don't have my glasses."

"I'm Madeline, but you can call me Maddy. My mom sent me."

" I'm Merlin."

"You two weren't supposed to come until Wednesday."

"It is Wednesday." We said at the same time.

"All right then you two put your stuff over there." Gaius said pointing to the floor.

"My mom didn't say anything about---" I said quickly.

"Shush. Now I should say Merlin, thank you."

I just stayed in my spot, unable to comprehend what just happened. What turned out to be just a spot to getting my medication is now my home? Wow how fast things change.
