I do not own PJO or HOO, Rick Riordan does!!!

The battle for time had just begun.

Hazel whistled for Arion. The majestic horse strode in, and as soon as Hazel got on, they whizzed off faster than sound.

Those monsters were no match for Arion's cuss words.

"Rise! Fight for me!" Nico summoned skeletons, and they rose from the ground.

Confederate soldiers, legionnaires from the times of Rome, and familiar Greek soldiers all lined up, ready to fight.

Jason took to the air.

"Percy!" He shouted. I looked up. "Kronos, as we thought, is leading the monster army from the front. But, the bad news is, the monsters seem to be limitless! I can't see any end to them!"

I gritted my teeth. Damn, that many?

But hey, we were gods, so it wasn't that big of an issue.

But for the demigods and warriors, they could end up losing their lives here.

I wasn't gonna let that happen.

I had to protect these people. My friends. My family.

The monster horde was approaching. I whistled.

Blackjack ascended from the skies. "Yo boss! How's it going? Damn, that's some nasty looking group of monsters! I guess you need a ride?"

"Yeah blackjack, but I'm gonna need you to be extra agile today. Of course, there's extra sugar cubes when we get back!' I replied.

Blackjack whinnied. I hopped on.

Before I could get anywhere, Hazel popped up.

"Percy, I've scouted the perimeter with Arion. There's good news, and there's bad news." She said. "Good news is, there's a limit to the monsters. I'd say there are roughly 1000 of them."

I looked as our army charged forth. We'd be able to take them, and with us as gods, the only concern would be Kronos and if Tartarus himself appeared.

"The bad news?" I asked.

"Well... I seemed to feel the presence of one or two more gods... I have a feeling that like the previous wars, some Olympian deities have moved across to the other side.."

Damn, I thought to myself.

But who could have gone to Tartarus's side?

At this moment in time we needed all the gods to be on our side seen as the 12 Olympians were paralysed.

A god appearing on their side just made this battle harder.

What would Annabeth do?

I had no time to think about that. Our army was rapidly approaching the horde of monsters.

"Arrows at the ready!" Frank shouted. "Ready, and fire!" A volley of arrows launched into the sky, falling down towards the enemy.

The arrows hit but it wasn't enough. The armour on the monsters made it hard for the arrows to deal damage.

"Now the metal arrows!" Frank shouted again. "Children of Apollo! Aim for the middle of the pack! Fire!"

Frank looked at Leo. Leo nodded and grinned.

He thrust his hand out, and suddenly all the arrows were covered in flames.

This time, as they landed, they dealt damage. The flames spread, engulfing enemy telekhines and dracanae.
