I do not own PJO or HOO, Rick Riordan does!!

Thankfully, Jason and Nico were with each other, which saved the trouble of teleporting twice.

Another good thing, they were at my favourite place in the world: Camp Half-Blood.

I found Jason and Nico at the sword training area. Great, I thought, I could practice my sword skills, talk to them and test out my sweet new blade Ripcurrent.

I strolled over to the nearest practice dummy and casually leant on it as if it was a stone wall.

"Hey," I said as if we were meeting up for a friendly picnic.

They glanced over nervously, but as they noticed me, their expressions turned into wide grins.

"Sup' Perce," Jason said. "What ya here for?"

"What, being a god doesn't mean I can come to my favourite place ever?" I replied, "I didn't see that in the rule book."

"Aaah, Percy's read a book! Its the end of the world!!" Nico screamed, "Wait, can you even read?"

Jason gave Nico a fist-bump.

"Hahaha, very funny," I said sarcastically. "I can read, you know."

I was pretty sure my face was red, so I turned towards the dummy and got my swords out. My demigod cousins joking about me reminded me about Annabeth, and how she would call me 'Seaweed Brain' for no apparent reason.

Anger welled up inside me, and for a minute, everything seemed to slow around me. I attacked the dummy with my two deadly swords, until it was reduced to piles on the floor.

I looked at Jason and Nico. They were attacking their dummy at snail speed, as if every move they made took minutes to perform. I realised my power was making this happen. My anger and hatred inside me was affecting my friends. I willed it to stop.

Time was back to normal. Jason and Nico looked at my dummy, slashed up on the floor. "How did you do that so quickly?" Nico asked. "I couldn't even lift my arms! It took a lot of strength to even strike it once."

Jason studied my face. He noticed it red with anger. "Oh gods. Sorry Percy, we didn't mean to offend you." He apologised.

Nico was astonished. His face looked full of fear. My friends were scared of me, but I didn't want that. I was supposed to be loyal and nice to my friends, not have them cowering them in fear.

"It was nothing." I said, shrugging my shoulders, "I just overreacted."

"If you need help sometimes, you have us. You don't have to fight everything on your own." Jason reassured me.

"Just leave it guys. The real reason I came here was to ask you something." I said.

"Sure," said Nico. "Go ahead."

"Our questing days are over, and being a god is getting boring. I realised that the only thing I really liked about being a demigod was going on quests, even though I nearly died a lot." I said, hoping they would understand.

Jason nodded slowly, gesturing me to carry on.

"So, I thought about having a group like Artemis' Hunters. We get to travel around and kill monsters that are a threat to Olympus. And Zeus already knows. I told him at the council."

"I'm okay with this and all, but do we have to swear off girls?" Nico asked.

"Nah, I can't have it too similar to the hunters. Artemis would kill me." I replied.

"It's all good then." Nico said. "Count me in!"

I smiled. I had one new warrior. I just needed Jason's confirmation.
"Jason?"

"What are we gonna be called?" he asked. "Otherwise, I'm in."

"The Warriors. The Warriors of Perseus."

He grinned. I had two warriors and needed at least three more to go fight the monster.

"Oh yeah. Almost forgot. I'm sure Zeus won't mind, 'cos I've decided to make the Pegasus our sacred animal." I informed. "But first: Hephaestus has broadcasted on his channel that I need warriors. We should go to the mess hall and see if anyone wants to join."

Nico and Jason nodded. We teleported to the mess hall, just as the 'Warriors of Perseus' advert had finished.

Ten boys in the mess hall turned towards us. They ventured forwards and then bombarded us with questions.

"Whoa, can I join?"
"What do we do?"
"Do we have to prove ourselves?"
"What age do we have to be?"

"Hey!!" I shouted. I had to keep things in control.

Everyone shut up. The hall was filled with silence.

"Good." I said. I wasn't gonna waste time. I had to get straight to the point. "I guess you all have seen the advert. You already know the dangers of the outside world. After knowing all this, who wants to join?"

6 out of 10 hands went up. If they all joined, I'd have a decent amount of warriors.

I told the other four to look for something else to do. As soon as they left, I told the warriors-to-be to form a line and tell me who they are.

The first one stepped forward.

"Mark Willis, son of Mars." he said.
I could see the family resemblance. This guy was big and buff and had the same fiery eyes.

And it went on. All 6 of them were determined to give their best for the group and help mortals in times of danger.

The group now had:
Mark, son of Mars
Ben, son of Athena
Harry, son of Apollo
Harley, son of Hephaestus
Tommy, son of Hypnos
And Jordan, son of Trivia (Hecate)

Finally I had assembled a group of warriors worthy enough to whip a Giant's podex. They just needed to do one more thing. They had to make an oath.

"Um ... Nico, do you remember the oath Bianca said ages ago? I'm sorry it must be hard for you, but I reckon it's the only way." I said cautiously.

"Yh... I remember ..." he said, slowly wiping a tear from his eyes. "It went something like 'I pledge myself to the goddess, turn my back on men, accept eternal maiden hood and join the hunt."

"Alright." I said. "We can't have exactly the same because half of it won't even make sense. Anyone got paper?"

Jason gave me a spare sheet, which he found lying on the table, and I jotted some things down.

"There." I handed the paper over to Jason and he held it where everyone could see it. "I need you guys to say every word on the paper. Ready?"

Everyone nodded. All together they said:
"I pledge myself to the god Perseus,
I will fight with my life to protect mortals,
I accept eternity, unless I fall in war,
And I am willing to join the Warriors."

Whoa. It sounded like a choir performing a mystical enchantment to raise the dead. Real creepy.

"Well, how do you feel?" I asked.

"I feel ... different. Like I've got a whole new purpose of life." Mark said.
"Yeah same..." the rest said.

I motioned to Jason. "I guess you and Nico feel normal?"

"Yeah, it's probably because we're already gods, it just feels the same." Jason shrugged.

"If I am not available, speak to Jason and Nico. They are second in command. Follow their orders. And finally, respect the Hunters. They may be our rivals, but they can also be of help at times. Do not fight them."

Thunder boomed in the sky. A streak of Lightning appeared in the sky, but was suddenly engulfed in a flash. I remembered the monsters Zeus had talked about in the council.

"Get some sleep Warriors and train well in the morning. Looks like we've got a monster on our hands..."
