Josuke | Rising Love

Coldly, you tiredly rubbed your hands together with your (f/c) long, sleeved school uniform. You dreaded today, since it was going to be under 50 degrees, and you could stand heat, as you came from a fairly hot country. Yes, you were a new student, and now living at Morioh.

Walking down the sidewalk, you turned a corner, but bumped into a hard body. Catching yourself, you quickly turned to apologise, but the person's face was inches from yours, so you quickly took a step back.

Dipping your head down, you apologized,"I'm very sorry for bumping into you. I'll be careful next time!"

Lifting your head up, you took notice of the person's features. Your breath hitched, but your face hardened, with a straight face, when you noticed a posse of girls behind him. Right away, you felt like you didn't like him one bit.

"N-No, it's alright. I wasn't paying attention either!" The male chuckled, scratching his neck, as his cheeks dusted in light pink.

Humming in reply, you walked pass him, heading towards your destination, but he followed behind, as the posse of girls' eyes bore your head. It wasn't even a few minutes until he spoke to you.

"Are you new here? Are you heading to Morioh Highschool? What's your name?"

Ignoring him, you continued on, as the gates of your new school came into view. You noticed two males new the gates, and saw them waving at someone, but you knew it was to the boy behind you.

"Hey, Josuke!"
"Morning, Josuke-san!"

Speeding your pace, you quickly passed the two, and took a sharp turn into the school. You didn't want to get involved with delinquents on the first day, or week, or better, the whole year.

Josuke's friends, approached him confused, as they looked at where you dashed off.

Okuyashu scoffed,"Who was that?"

Koichi nodded in agreement,"Yeah, who is she? She must be new, since I've never seen her before." He rubbed his chin, thinking.

Josuke just shrugged,"I bumped into her earlier. I tried to ask her, but she just ignored me, and did-that!" Josuke sighed, as he remembered your face.

So far, your classes were going smoothly, until your last class, art. You teacher instructed you to wait outside of class, so you could introduce yourself, and you obeyed. When on cue, you entered the classroom, and stood in front of the class bowing.

"Nice to meet you all. I'm (Y/n) (L/n). I just transferred and will be living here in Morioh from now on." Looking up, you continued,"I hope to know you all and be of acquaintance."

The students began whispering, and throwing questions on where you were from and such.

"All right class, silence!" The teacher turned towards you,"Please have a seat, near the far window, Miss (L/n)."

Bowing, you made your way to your seat, as you heard the boys whispering and commenting on how you looked. They weren't negative, but positive, as you were very pretty, and quiet comfortable in your body.

Sitting in your seat, you reached to your get your supplies, until a familiar voice rang in your ear.

"So, you're (Y/n), huh?"

Eyes wide, you turned to him, but with your usual stoic face,"Yes. Now don't talk, or look at me."

Going back to your stuff, you brought out all your stuff and focused on what the teacher instructed you to do. Sadly, the assignment of today was to draw your seat mate. Inwardly, you wanted to burn the school, but you complied, and turned towards your partner. But as you did so, he gave you the sexiest smirk and look you could possibly see. (Photo above).

"Well, I can't seem to do that now, can I, (Y/n)?" He chuckled, as he continue to give you that look.

Deeply breathing in, you grabbed your pencil and sketchbook,"Please get into a comfortable position, so I can draw you." You looked up at him, but saw he was still in that pose. You were captivated in his blue/purple eyes, that you hadn't realized he was mere inches from you.

"Are you going to draw?"

Snapping from the trance, you cleared your throat,"U-uhm, if you don't mind being in that pose, t-then I'll start."

He tilted his head slightly and gave you the cutest smile. You felt like puddy and wanted to just melt, but you shook your head and started to draw him. Slowly your mind was focused, and you calmly started to get at task, and every now and then you would look at him with your peripheral vision.

Nearing finished, you sighed,"Alright, I'm nearly finished, so you can-" flinching, he has managed to move closer to you, staring right at you with that damn look. Your skin started to burn.

He blinked in confusion, and tilted his head cutely,"Are you okay? You're burning up." He reached his hand and touched your forehead,"Are you sick?"

Staring at him again, you never realized how perfect every feature of his face was.

"Beautiful.."

You quickly covered your mouth, and faced towards the window, at what you just did. You mentally kicked yourself, as he probably thought you were a weirdo now. You waited for his harsh words, but what he said shocking.

"I-oh, I think you're b-beautiful as well!"

Turning towards him, you noticed his face was beet red, covering his mouth with his hand as well, and staring to the side to avoid eye contact. You bit your lip from laughing, but let out a snort. His eyes widen as he stared at you, thinking it was impossible for someone so expressionless to laugh. He stared in awe at you, as the sun radiated it's rays onto you, making you look angelic.

Calming yourself, you stuck a hand out towards him,"I'm (Y/n) (L/n), and I did just move here. Pleasure to meet you, boy I bumped into."

Chuckling, he took your hand, shaking it,"Josuke Higashikata, pleasure to meet you too."

Your heart bumped fast, as the warmth of his large hands made you calm and safe. Smiling at him, you gave Josuke love struck through the heart, as he saw a pure angel in front of him. Clenching his chest, he made a puppy face and started to fake cry.

Panicking, you let go of his hand and grabbed his shoulders,"Oh-oh my God! I-I'm so sorry! Did I do something!? Please don't cry!"

Hearing soft laughs, you blinked confusedly, until he flashed a playful grin at you,"Hahaha!"

Pouting, you strongly punched his arm, as he grabbed it wincing in pain.

"Ouch! What was that for?" Josuke said, as he stared at your adorable face.

Grabbing the sketch book, you ripped the paper of him, and shoved it into his face, as the bell rang.

"Don't talk or look at me again, Josuke! BAKA!" You barked, stomping your way out of class.

Josuke stared dumbly, but grabbed the paper and was speechless. All the angles and features were to the tea, and it looked so real. He stared at it longer, until he noticed something else. On the bottom corner, it had your number there. Smiling, Josuke carefully put the piece away.

Rising, young love is soon to bloom.
