Austin POV
Last night was amazing. It was the best night of my life. I am so lucky to have her in my life still. I could have lost her. I would have killed that asshole and probably killed myself too. I loved her.
When I got up and walked downstairs my mom was on the phone with Rocco.
My mom went into the other room and talked for 15 minutes.
" Austin, Rocco needs to talk to you."
"Hey! What's up? I'm excited about meeting you in a couple days!"
"About that, my bosses don't believe it is appropriate and is too expensive to meet each other every few weeks. I have talked to your mother and we both think it would be better if you come to Miami full-time."
"WHAT?!?!"
"Is something wrong, Austin?"
"Um, no. Can I call you later?"
"Yeah, sure. Whenever you have time, just text or call me on my cell."
I hung up and started crying. I tried to stop myself but I couldn't. I knew this was a huge opportunity for me. But, I had to leave all my friends and the love of my life.
