Coming Home

Austin POV

It was Christmas time and I needed to see her. I needed to hold her! I haven't seen her in more than a year and it was killing me that last time I saw her we got into a fight. I have been really busy on tour. I got to meet Taylor Swift. And she told me she loved my music! I was so happy that she liked my music. She randomly called me and asked if I would like to go on tour with her. I obviously said yes and the tour took up half a year. I was really happy! I was becoming more famous everyday and I was scared. It was amazing but it was tearing my life apart. I needed to see her. I needed to apologize. I was going to invite her on tour with me. We could finally be together after she got out of school in a few months. She wouldn't have to work. I will support her. We could get married and have the cutest babies. We could travel the world with each other hand and hand. She was my everything and I couldn't let her go. I went on a couple dates but nobody was like her. Nobody was as beautiful, funny, and could make me laugh like her. I was stuck on her. She was my soulmate and I couldn't let her go. For all I know, she could have a handsome boyfriend right now. But, I think at the bottom of her heart she still loved me as much as I loved her. Nobody could understand her like I could. I hope she will take me back. I know I don't deserve her because I put her through all this shit but I loved her more than anything. We had this connection. We were meant to be together, we were born to find each other.

I got on the first plane back to Texas. I got there by 3 in the afternoon. I stayed at a hotel closest to her house. My mom was with me and she went to her friends' house for cookies and a small get together.

I went to her house. I lost her number so I couldn't call her and tell her I was there. I rang the doorbell and her dad came to the door with a big smile on his face. I hoped that she would be as excited to see me as her dad was.

"Hey! How have you been? Jasmine and Alex are upstairs."

I was glad that Jasmine and Alex were close. They needed each other to talk to. Jasmine needed someone to be there when she starts crying randomly.

"Jasmine has really missed you, Austin."

I doubted that. I treated her like shit. But, I was going to prove to her that I changed. I had the diamond ring in my hand. I opened the door slowly to find Alex, my best friend, and Jasmine. the love of my life, making out.

The ring fell out of my hand and hit the floor. I couldn't believe that Alex would betray me like that. I couldn't believe that she actually moved on.

I was about to leave when Jasmine came running down the stairs. "Oh. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Austin wait!"

Why? You have obviously have moved on!"

"I didn't choose to move on. I was forced to. You left me and started gradually not coming back. I know you're music is important to you, but I thought I was important to you too. Because I know for a fact, you are important to me!"

"You are important to me, but I started becoming busier and busier. Please come with me. Please come with me on tour. You can leave after high school. You don't need to go to college because I can support you. I will support you. I will love you until the end of time. I will never leave you again. It was the worst mistake of my life. We have our whole life ahead of us and I can't imagine living it without you. You are the sun and I'm the moon and it was a miracle that we collided and we met but I have fallen in love and I can't let you go. You light up my life. Thanks."

"Austin, I can't. You have to move on. You deserve a girl who is just like you. You are a celebrity, you could find any girl and they would fall in love with you at your smile. You have millions of Mahomies, and you could steal any of their hearts at any given moment. You could probably walk outside right now and find a random gorgeous girl and read love quotes to her and she would fall for your charming looks and your amazing personality. You could have anyone in this world. I don't deserve you."

" I can't have the only thing I want. I want you. I crave you. I need you. This is destiny that we are together."

"We aren't together. I'm with Alex. I love Alex. " Almost on cue, Alex came downstairs. She made out with him passionately for about a minute until I ran out in tears.

I couldn't believe she just did that. She didn't care that she broke my heart into a million pieces. We were destined to be together and I missed her every day. I went home and went to bed crying myself to sleep. I was thinking of the impossible scenarios of us. I imagined our boy and girl running around the playground with huge smiles on their face. I can imagine her saying "they are so beautiful!" and I would agree while staring at her.

Jasmine POV

Alex asked me what that was about and I told him I needed Austin to leave so I could tell him something. We went up to my room and when he sat down I told him the big news.

"When we had sex, we didn't use protection. Alex, I'm pregnant!"

"OMG! This is so exciting! We are going to be a family, babe."

"Yeah! I'm so excited."

Alex POV

When we came upstairs, I found Austin's ring that he had dropped. He planned on marrying her. Now, I planned on marrying her. I didn't have the money for a ring and the ring shouldn't go to waste.

I grabbed her hand and drove her to the closest beach. I wrote our names on the sand and made her close her eyes. I wrote "Will you marry me?" Then, I got down on one knee and told her to open her eyes. It wasn't the best proposal but I didn't have much time to think. I put the ring on her finger and she admired it for a minute until she wrapped her arms around me and kissed me softly. She started crying and said "Yes, OMG, Alex this ring is amazing how did you get it?!?!"

I lied and told her that my dad found 1,000 dollars at the beach when he went a week ago. I knew it was wrong but I couldn't tell her that I got it from Austin. She would have never talked to me again. She deserved that ring whether it was from me or from Austin.

" I love you babe!"

"I love you too! I can't wait to start our life together!" I said. I was the happiest person in the world right now. The girl of my dreams just told me that she was pregnant to my baby and I am engaged. This was the best moment of my life. We went back to her house and talked about the doctors and the ultrasound and we found out it was going to be a girl. We decided to name it Peyton. Peyton May Constancio.
