1500.

A week have passed since Jimin asked Taehyung to escape with them, they will be leaving in two days and Taehyung decided to tell his mother today.

They will be leaving, for good.

He got up from his bed and went to the kitchen like usual, where he found his mother.

"Good morning Taehyungie!" she said.

"Good morning." And just by the way he said it, his mother knew there was something wrong.

"Taehyung, you seem to be feeling down for the last couple of days, is it because of what the police officers have told you? You know they were just trying to scare you, they can't do anything other than scaring and threatening their people." She said as she put the plate of food infront of him.

"Mom, I need to tell you something." He confessed.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Remember when Jimin came here a week ago? He came to tell me something very important, and I kept it from you but I now think it's the right time." He started.

"Jimin's father is against the government so they jailed him. He has a friend that is also a rebel to the country and he decided to escape after 2 days from now." He said and looked at her shocked expressions.

"Jimin asked me if I wanted to escape, and I decided that it'd be good to try, this is our best opportunity, what do you think?" He asked tensing up.

She looked at him for a minute before whispering, "A-are they trustworthy?" She asked.

"I talked to that man 2 days ago, he has a plan and I think we can rely on him." He said seriously.

"If you think so, then I'm all for it. I don't want you to regret not going another time." She said half smiling.

"It's not just about me, if you don't want to then I promise I wouldn't regret not going at all." He said looking directly at her eyes.

"I do want to," she said, "then it's final, we will be leaving in 2 days." She said confidently.

Taehyung smiled, "Thank you mom, I hope this will be the right decision for us." he said.

She nodded, "Now eat your food." she said drinking the soup infront of her.

Taehyung soon got up and made his way to Jimin's house to tell him the news.

He knocked on the door, and soon heard footsteps coming his way and a door unlocked.

"Hello Chungha." he greeted Jimin's older sister.

"Good morning Taehyung, you may come in." She said with a smile.

"Thank you." He said taking off his shoes.

He made his way to the house and found Jimin and his mother in the living room, "Good morning." he greeted.

"Oh hello Taehyung. Are you here to confirm you're coming with us?" Jimin asked hopefully.

Taehyung chuckled and nodded slowly.

"That's great!" He heard his mother, mrs. Sunmi saying.

"I told my mom today, and she agreed!" He announced, "Where can I find mr. Minseok? I want to tell him." he said.

"Oh I can call him for you!" Jimin said and Taehyung's eyes widened, "Oh wow you have a phone? How did you afford it?" he asked.

"My father worked hard to afford this, once we will be out of this hole we will help him get out!" He said with a determined look in his eyes.

Taehyung looked at him and nodded his head, soon enough Jimin was calling mr. Minseok to tell him the wonderful news.

"Hello mr. Minseok! Taehyung decided to come with us! Yes, he is infront of me, okay wait, here." Taehyung heard Jimin saying, and soon the phone was pressed in his ears.

"Uh, hello?" Taehyung said.

"Hello dear! I'm glad you decided to come with us, did your mom accept too?" He asked.

"Yes she did! That means all 6 of us are leaving I guess." Taehyung said smiling as if Minseok was looking at him.

"Amazing! Don't pack too many things, we don't need problems in our voyage." Minseok said.

"I know! I'll meet in 2 days then." He said.

"Yeah, goodbye for now!" Minseok said.

Taehyung gave the phone back to Jimin after he said his final 'Goodbye'.

"I'm really glad we can go together Taehyungie." Jimin said smiling at Taehyung.

"Me too, I always cared for you Jimin, I'm so happy I can have my freedom with you by my side." Taehyung said smiling widely.

Jimin suddenly hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry for hurting you before and I hope we will reach what we want." He said closing his eyes.

"I hope so too." Taehyung whispered.

They let go of each other and Taehyung made his way out.

As he was walking he looked at the streets, staring at every detail before his eyes, the people, the buildings.. In two days he most certainly will not see this anymore, whether they succeeded or got cought, he won't be here another time.

Will he miss this place? Maybe.

Time felt so fast, he is walking slowly yet he feels like time is running so quickly.

He slowly made his way to his house, staring at his old house, he wanted to tell it that he is grateful for all the good memories he had.

With his mother, and with his father.. The last trace to remind him of his father is this old place, and he will leave it behind.

He couldn't help but stare at everything around him, it felt foreign yet so familiar.

Once he walked in the house his mom ran to him.

"Taehyung!" She said in a rushed tone.

He looked at her worriedly, "What's wrong?" He asked.

"This envelope came from Taiwan, and it has your name in it." She said in one breath.

He widened his eyes. What? Taiwan? Why would anyone send him something from there?

He carefully opened it and his eyes widened even more when he saw the painting he gave to Yeri a while ago.

With shaking hands he opened the letter with it, and he almost fainted when he read the first sentence.

"My babybear."

No one ever called him like other than him.
