A/N:
The song New York To California is the inspiration for this chapter. The original artist is Mat Kearney. Listen to his music, it's amazing. I can just imagine what Hunter would do with this song.
And I won't be updating for a while. I'm sorry.

Liz's POV: A Month Later:
"Do you want to come to the studio with me tomorrow?" Hunter asks as I put some clothes in my drawers.
"Oh. I don't know...." I say unsurely.
"You don't have to. The guys just want to hang out with you," he says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Well they said you used to come to the studio, before we got married. And I... Well I think that's the only reason. And I'd like you to be there," he says, smiling slightly at me.
"You want me there?" I say skeptically.
"Yeah. This may come as a surprise, but I like being around you. You're fun," he says, blushing.
"Oh. Well, since I'm so fun, I guess I'll come," I say, winking at him.
He smiles. "Good."
"You get the bed tonight," I remind him.
We haven't been sleeping together at all, for obvious reasons. So we take turns. Some nights I sleep on the couch and he gets the bed, and other nights he has the couch and I have the bed.
"No, you can have it," he says, looking at something on his phone.
"Hunter, I've had it like, three times already. You actually do stuff. You should have it," I argue.
"But you're prettier than me," he insists.
"But your hair is nicer," I whine.
"Well your eyes are cool," he fights.
"Hunter, get in bed," I say sternly.
"Whoa, I didn't know you were so excited," he teases.
I roll my eyes. Lately we've been teasing each other a lot. And we jokingly argue about stuff. And we flirt. And I love it. I love it a lot.

"You ready?" Hunter asks as I walk into the kitchen.
"Yup," I reply, putting my phone in the back pocket of my jeans.
"You look good," he says as we walk out the door.
I just roll my eyes as we continue walking. He opens the passenger door of the car for me, looking really cute. I get in and smile slightly as he walks around to his side, his hands shoved in his pockets. I put my right foot up on the dash as he starts driving. We ride in silence for a few minutes, until he decides that it's time for a serious conversation. The idiot.
"So are you still afraid of me?" He asks.
"I'm more scared of what you used to be," I say honestly.
"But I'm not like that anymore," he says.
"I know. But... But sometimes you'll walk in, and my mind just automatically goes into this state where... Where everything I do is wrong, and I'm just not good enough. It's hard to break those kinds of habits," I admit.
"Oh," is all he says.
"I'm sorry Hunter. I... I wish we could just be a normal couple and do normal stuff together but... It's gonna a take some time," I say regretfully.
