A month past

Lisa was working around her house, leaves blew into it and she decided to do light chores.

A rustle came from her side. Weird. No traders are supposed to come by.

"Li-sa?" A familiar voice rang though her ears.

"Jen-nie?"

Lisa went around to the front of her house to find Jennie and a bunch of people with cameras.

"I brought a translator, we are here to make a documentary." Jennie smiled to Lisa.

The translator next to Jennie started to speak. Lisa kept her look on Jennie the entire time.

Lisa spoke and the translator's face fell.

"Good news, you can stay and do whatever documentary you want, was what Lisa said."

"What's the bad news?" Jennie asked.

"She won't be in it."

"What? Can you ask her to reconsider this more? This documentary can't happen without her."

"She's very firm on her decision," the translator said.

"Can we talk in private?" Jennie asked Lisa.

They exchanged words.

"Lisa said to wait in the shed, you'll know where it is?"

Jennie nodded. She informed her mangers.

Lisa went inside her house and brought out a huge mat for everyone to sit on, she couldn't trust them to sit inside her house, but she couldn't leave them out in the forest either.

---

"Jennie." Lisa called her more confidently.

"Lisa, did I take too long?"

The translator looked at the two talking to each other, as they spoke more, she knew something was going on between the two girls.

"Why did you bring so many people?" Lisa asked.

"It's for our documentary."

Lisa looked at the translator.

"Lisa said, shouldn't you ask her before you bring the whole crew?"

"I didn't think it would be a problem."

"I'm sorry Jennie, you can do your documentary, but I can't be in it."

"You have to be."

The whole conversation was awkward,  more of a whole mess, the translator had to say what Jennie told Lisa, and vice versa, and relay back to what they said to each other.

"How long will it take?" Lisa asked, the translator asked to Jennie.

"For a week?"

Jennie grabbed Lisa's hands, and pleaded.

"Just for a week Lisa? Then you can go back to normal."

"You stay?" Lisa asked Jennie directly.

"I can't," Lisa's face fell. "But I can visit you, can you translate that to her."

Lisa scoffed.

"Lisa said you visited her after a month and you bring other people with you."

Jennie grabbed Lisa's side of her face.

"I was busy Lisa, I was just founded stranded on this island, I couldn't make time, not yet, but my schedule is clearing up, I'll be back for you faster and-"

"No." Lisa firmly stated. "Go."

Lisa pulled Jennie's hand from her face and dragged her to the front of her house.

"Leave!" She yelled to Jennie's staffs.

She told the translator some things and left her house.

"She said to leave within an hour, she won't do the documentary and she asked to leave and never come back."

Jennie tried to run after Lisa, but her manger stopped her.

"We don't need the documentary with her." He soothed Jennie's back.

"I can't do it without her." Jennie ran into the forest.

"Wait Jennie! Aish!"

"Who knows the way back?"

Everyone stayed silent.

----

"Lisa! Lisa where are you!?" Jennie yelled out.

It was getting dark, she tried to find her way back to Lisa's house, but nothing looked familiar.

She was about to give up and turn around, but heard the waves of the ocean. She walked through some branches and stepped out into the beach. Jennie inhaled largely. She looked off to her side and saw Lisa there, sitting and looking across the ocean, Jennie walked up to her cautiously.

"This is where you found me?"

"I see you here." Lisa said.

Jennie sat next to her.

"Thank you for saving me."

Lisa stayed quiet.

"I'm sorry if I didn't give you any kind of contact after I left, there was no way I could have though, but I'm still sorry, if you're still mad-"

"Shh." Lisa put her index finger up to her lips. "Listen."

The calm waves of the ocean. Jennie heard that the day she was washed ashore.

"I missed you Lisa."

"Miss?"

Of course she couldn't understand.

"Chankhidthungkhun."

Lisa smiled towards Jennie.

"I-don't do...khamera?"

"I understand Lisa, I won't do it if you won't do it."

"I like you." Lisa confessed abruptly.

Jennie looked back to Lisa, "You...like me?"

"Yes. Stay?" Lisa pleaded.

"I wish I could Lisa."

With Jennie's tone, Lisa knew she was getting rejected, she looked to the ground.

"How about we do this documentary and I stay after?"

Lisa still hung her head low.

Jennie lifted her head up and saw tears along the bottom rim of Lisa's eyes. She cupped Lisa's face with both hands.

"I like you too." Jennie leaned in and kissed Lisa's lips.

Taken aback, Lisa softly pulled back.

"I'll stay."

Jennie smiled and hugged Lisa, she knew that Lisa couldn't understand her; nevertheless, Lisa hugged her back for the first time.

"I'll stay." Lisa whispered back Jennie's words.
