Paul's P.O.V.

As Paul goes for a stroll on the beach, he sees a girl in a bathing suit laying unconscious in the sand. He rushes over to the girl (Madison) and bends down to her level. "Are you the girl? Please, wake up!" He said. Madison opens her eyes and sees Paul standing over her. "Are you okay?" Paul asked. Madison nods her head. "Do you need help getting up?" Asked Paul.

Madison nods again as Paul holds out his hand for her and helps her up. Once Madison is on her feet for the first time, she starts to stumble. She was about to fall back until Paul grabs her hand and she falls into his chest. "Whoa! Easy there!" He said. Madison looks up at Paul and the two lock eyes. "I don't think I've seen you before. What's your name?" Paul asked. Madison tries to talk, but, holds her throat.

"What's wrong? Can't you speak?" Asked Paul. Madison sadly shakes her head. "Aww, I'm sorry. My name is Paul, by the way." Paul said. "Paul? Where are you, mate?" A voice called. "Come with me to meet my friends." Said Paul. He takes Madison's hand and guides her to where the voice is coming from. It was George. "There you are!" He said. "Sorry, George. I was helping this woman here." Paul said. "Oh, hello, miss. What's your name?" Asked George. "I hate to break it to you, mate, she can't talk." Said Paul.

George rubs the back of his neck and gives a nervous laugh. "I didn't know. My apologies." He said. Paul gives his friend a pat on the back. "You know, miss, me and my friends would be more than happy to help you. Wouldn't we, George?" He said. "Absolutely! You can stay with us for as long as you need." George said. Madison smiles as if she was trying to say "thank you". George and Paul bring her back to their suite.

Madison's P.O.V.

A few hours later, Madison makes herself comfortable on one of the beds. Paul enters the room she's in while holding a bunch of shopping bags in his hands. "I figured you could use some clothes while you're here. I even bought you some pajamas so you can be comfortable while you sleep." He said. Madison looks through some of the bags and sees a bunch of beautiful dresses in each one. She finds a nightgown in one of the bags. A smile appears on her face and she wraps Paul into a hug. He returns the embrace shortly thereafter.

"I guess that's your thank you, isn't it?" He asked. Madison nods. "I still don't know your name, though. Maybe you could write it down since you can't talk." Paul said. He hands Madison a blank index card and a pen. She writes her name down and gives the card back to Paul afterwards. He reads what's written. "Madison? Is that your name?" He asked. Madison nods with a smile. Paul walks closer to her and puts his hands on her hips. "You have such a beautiful name. Even though I wish you could talk, I've already fallen in love with you." He said.

Madison couldn't help but blush. Almost immediately, Paul starts to lean in to kiss her. But, their moment gets interrupted when John enters the room and clears his throat. "I hope I'm not invading your privacy." He said. "Not at all. I just finally found out about her name." Said Paul. "Oh, how wonderful! What is it?" Asked John. "It's Madison." Paul said. "That's a lovely name." John said. Madison puts her hand on her chest and smiles.

"I'll leave you two alone now. Sorry if I disturbed you." Said John. He exits the room a minute later. "You don't think he interrupted, do you?" Asked Paul. Madison shakes her head. "My thoughts exactly." Paul said. Madison lets out a yawn and her eyes start to droop. "Tired?" Asked Paul. Madison nods. "Alright then. Go ahead and get some sleep. Good night, Madison." Said Paul. And with that, he exits the room.

Madison puts on her nightgown and climbs into bed. For the first few minutes, she stares at the ceiling. "I can't believe Paul and I almost kissed! Hopefully tomorrow I have better luck." She said in her head. She falls asleep a few minutes later.
