Paul's P.O.V.

Paul had a lot of sleepless nights thinking about Madison. He didn't want to say goodbye to her. The most important thing he never forgot about was when she saved his life the night of the storm. One day, he zones out while staring out the window of his room. "My darling Madison, letting you go was the hardest thing I've ever done. I also never imagined falling in love with a mermaid. I wish we could be together, despite our differences." He said.

John enters the room followed by George and Ringo. "Thinking about Madison again?" John asked. Paul nods slowly and sadly. "I still can't believe I let her go." He said. "She may be a mermaid, but that doesn't mean you can't see her ever again." George said. "Yes it does. Her life is under the sea, and my life is up here on land." Said Paul. "That may be true, but, you deserve to be together." Ringo said. "I know! That's what I kept telling her! But, humans and mermaids don't mix! Now, I'll never see her again!" Paul said as he choked up.

The three Beatles try to cheer Paul up. But no matter what they do, he won't smile. They then decide to let him have some time alone after minutes of trying to make him feel better. "Lads, this could only mean one thing!" Said John. "What's that?" George and Ringo say together. "Paul... is lovesick." John said. "Lovesick?" Asked Ringo. "What he means is that Paul loves Madison and he misses her terribly." Said George. "Exactly!" Said John.

They then look over at Paul who's now crying hysterically. "I honestly think he deserves to be with Madison." Ringo said. John and George nod in agreement. For the rest of the day, the three Beatles give Paul his space. As Paul continues to cry, he hears Madison's goodbye message over and over in his head. It stabbed him in the heart when he let her go.

Madison's P.O.V.

Madison sits in her room with a piece of paper and pen infront of her. She decided to write Paul a letter. She felt bad for leaving him. Once she finished, she rolls up the letter and puts it in a bottle. She floats to the surface and lets the bottle get carried away by the ocean current. Moments later, Madison sits back down on her bed with her eyes filled with tears. Rachel and Phoebe enter the room and saw her looking so distraught.

"Madi? What's the matter?" Asked Rachel. "I... I let him go." Said Madison as her voice cracked. "What?! Why?!" Asked Phoebe in shock. "You were right, Rachel. It's impossible for us to be together. Mermaids and humans don't mix." Madison said. Rachel moves in to comfort her sister. "I only said that because I was trying to protect you. Now I understand that he means a lot to you." She said. "He does! But, I broke his heart by leaving him! Besides, I can't leave my life in the water. I've been down here my whole life!" Said Madison.

Phoebe moves in to comfort her friend. "Something tells me that you're lovesick." She said. "What does that mean?" Madison asked. "It means that when you love someone very much, you miss them when you leave them. In this case, you love Paul. And after the difficult decision of letting him go, you're sad and miss him terribly." Phoebe explained. "You're right, Phoebe. I am lovesick!" Said Madison.

For the rest of the day, Phoebe and Rachel stay with Madison to cheer her up. She felt better a little bit, but, her heart is still broken from missing Paul.

Paul's P.O.V.

Paul stands on the beach with Madison stuck on his mind. A second later, a floating object in the water catches his eye. It was the bottle that Madison sent with a message inside. Paul picks up the bottle and takes out the message. He reads the letter.

Dear Paul,

I hope you're doing well since it's been a little hard for me after leaving you. I feel really bad for doing that.

Please, keep in mind that even though we can't be together, I'm always gonna love you. The days I spent with you were the best, even though I only had a limited time of being human.

Don't despair, my love. I'll be thinking about you every day and night. Hopefully we'll see each other again someday.

Love,
Madison

After reading the letter, Paul feels a wave of mixed emotions flow through him. He's happy that Madison wrote to him, but, sad that they can't be together. Suddenly, an idea comes to him. He decides to write back to Madison and tell her how he's feeling. With that, Paul goes inside the suite and starts writing to his true love.
