Uraraka sat down beside him. "Let's talk."
Midoriya looked up at Uraraka. His vision was blurred from the tears in his eyes. Midoriya grabbed a tissue and wiped them away.
"I-it's j-j-just-" He broke off into sobbing whilst pointing at a crumpled piece of card in his bin.
Uraraka tuck it out and uncrumpled it. In her hand was an invitation to Todoroki's wedding.
She squeezed her best friend. "You really like him, don't you?" Uraraka lifted his chin up and wiped away his tears.
"Yes...but he's been engaged for who knows how long and never said anything about It!" Midoriya looked at his feet. "You know, I got my hopes up. I actually thought that he might like me back, but I guess not."
"Well," she dragged on the word, "I'm not if you read the chat, but Momo said that it was an arranged marriage and he barely knows the girl that he's marrying, so he could actually like you back."
Midoriya mumbled, "Yeah, but he's still getting married."
Uraraka sighed. There wasn't a lot more she could say. "Do want to eat ice cream and binge-watch everything All Might?"
Midoriya's face lit up.
Uraraka chuckled at how easily All Might stuff could cheer up Deku.
