So, I've left school now. I start college in less than a week and I am FREAKING out on the inside. But let's put all of my feelings about college aside for a moment because this book isn't about college, it's about high school!
Now in England, we call high school secondary school, but the term high school is also used.
And honestly, when you think about it high school in America and secondary school in England aren't too different. I'm not saying they're completely the same because they're not but they're not alien different either.
Because at either end of the pond, whether we're in England or America- take away all the labels and we're just kids at school, and because of certain high school movies which I will not name because- copyright reasons, let's just say the first one which comes to my mind has lots of singing and dancing and it's about a sportsman and a science nerd which meet by singing pretty much, and the second one is about a bunch of mean females.
If you haven't figured out what I mean, you're probably so young you'd make me feel old.
Anyway, moving on- this book ain't no high school movie. There's going to be no singing and dancing, no dreamy-eyed boy who is literally perfect in every way, it's a book about high school/secondary school- whatever you wanna call it.
And it's REALISTIC! Something which a lot of these movies lack!
So with enough said, let's dive straight into this book.

De TodoIf there is one type of movie I have grown to strongly dislike over the years, it's high school movies. As a kid, I LOVED them but as I got older I found that school is NOTHING like those movies. They should be given the genre of "lies".
