Wings Were Made To Fly

"Aaaaaaahhhh!!" I screamed and ran outside. No this isn't happening! What am I? Am I a freak?? I didn't know! I had to get out! I started to walk and I wondered "well I have wings now, I'll just fly," so I flew. I was just getting used to my wings. But still aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I can't handle this, I'm only 12 and I'm already a FREAAAAKKK!!!! I landed at my house. But I fell. I opened the door and I went inside. I touched my back and my wings were gone. What happened?

"Logan I-"

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I saw him working on some lumberjack stuff that's what he works for.

"Logan, listen, what am I?"

"Um, a girl named Destiny, why?"

"No, I am not an ordinary girl, I gotta show you something,"

I tried to spread my wings out but I couldn't. I tried harder. Nothing.

"Destiny what are you trying to-"

"Shush it's gonna come,"

"But-"

"Logan!" and with that i felt my platinum wings spread across my back. Logan sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"Destiny I have to tell you something," I was confused.

"Destiny, you're not just an ordinary girl. Your parents, well, they were mutants. They worked as the X-Men, and so did I. Until you're parents died and they gave you to me." I was surprised. Mutants?

"Wait, so who are my parents?"

" That, I can't tell you. I'm sorry."

I was shocked.

"But how did I get my wings?"

"You're also a mutant,"

"So I am a freak! A bird freak!"

I stormed up to my room and cried until there were no more tears left to shed. A freak. Destiny the girl who's family is a freak.
