She shrinks back from Her friends.
he tells Her that he is all She needs.
She believes him.
he confuses,
he convinces,
he confesses
and She cannot break free.
Her family,
Her friends,
they all know that he is not good.
She cannot see what they see.
She can only see what he wants Her to.
She is young,
naive,
insecure,
lonely.
She just wants someone to love Her.
She thinks he loves Her.
She believes him when he says that
he only hurts Her because he loves Her.
She follows him into the woods.
She listens when he says he loves Her.
She is scared, tries to tell him that She isn't ready.
he doesn't listen.
She spent the whole night crying,
wondering how She could live with this
newfound anger,
hatred,
disgust
for Herself.
It never crosses Her mind that She should be
Angry,
Hateful,
Disgusted
with him.
