Hmm idk dad he said he was gonna be late, hm I- just-." I paused seeing him walk closer to me.

"I'm right here." Street said as he walked through the door.

"And where in the hell have you been?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Dad I can explain." Street started and walked around to the table out of Hondo's reach, closer to his sister.
"And I would love to here this." Hondo said moving closer. As the two older kids shifted around the table, and Darryl stared lost.
"Darryl come with me, your siblings have some things they need to work out." Charice said as she left her grandkids.
"Grandma.." Street said as she walked away ignoring his cry for help.
"Well, I just think I'm gonna go into the other room with them." Maya whispered, and started to back up.
"Maya, you stand your butt right there, because I know you had something to do with this." He pointed to a corner in the kitchen. She paused. She was caught.......... or was she. If she made her father run after her she was for sure in for the ass whooping of her life but if she stayed then there was a slight chance if wouldn't come up she was lying for her brother. She didn't know what to do so she took the next best route pleading.
"Did I really have something to do with this?" She questioned.
"Corner." Was all Hondo stated.
"BUTTT DADDDDDDY.... I didn't do anyyyyything...." She pleaded.
"5...." Hondo said.
"WAIT- I promise I had nothing nor do I-."
"3....."
"Stop counting I'm going." She said as she ran past him with a heavy handed swat delivered to her rear.
Both of the children know when Hondo starts counting, Hondo means business which also means that, you better do exactly what he tells you to do, or your ass is virtually toast. If he gets to one, it's a automatic switch. One time Maya tried him, and when he got to one things were not pretty. Let's just say she could not sit down for a solid week and a half.
"Son, I'm not going to ask again." Hondo said. "Where. Were. You." He said he he moved closer with every word.
"Where was I?" Street said, taking three steps back.
"I- ugh- ugh—-Maya, I don't know, where was I?" Street looked towards his sister for help.
Maya turned to him like he had lost his ever lasting mind.
"THE HELL YOU MEAN WHERE WERE YOU, I dont FUCKING KNOW WHERE YOU WERE, and STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE DID. You're just trying to drag me down and need flash I ain't going bitch." Maya blew her lid on her brother.
For a brief moment all of Hondos anger was placed on Maya and her mouth. After hearing her mouth he knew she had to be dealt with immediately.
