"Maddie! Maddie wake up or you'll be late for the concert!" yelled my sister Emily. I woke up instantly. This is it, this is the day I get to see the band I've dedicated my life to. It was finally the day for the Of Mice & Men concert, I had waited months for this day to come.
I ran into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair, did my makeup, then put on my favorite pair of black skinny jeans and my OM&M floral tank top. I stood in the mirror and surveyed my outfit to make sure it was perfect. Emily must have noticed that I was nervous because she told me I looked amazing and that the band would love it.
Emily was getting my ticket and VIP pass while I looked for my wallet and keys. I was shaking from excitement. While driving there I blasted Restoring Force and sang along to You're Not Alone. "Don't let the world bring you down, there's always hope for the willing".
I decided to leave early for the concert, the venue was two hours away and the meet & greet started an hour before they opened the doors to the general public. I arrived at the Royal Oak Music Theater at noon. Great I have two hours before the meet and greet
