From the day archie opened his eyes he was always going to be the serpent king. He had no choice even if he would rather go to college or get a proper job,it simply would no happen it was not in his blood.
For centuries the Jones's had leaded the serpent. It was what there family was built on no one,and I mean no one in the Jones's family was not a serpent but for archie it was simply not what he wanted he never saw himself as the king he was a lover not a fighter.
But his brother jughead however would die to be the king of the serpents.Since he was little a got his first glimpse at the life his brother would have he wanted it he wanted to be the leader every one would follow he wanted to make there dad around he wanted to be archie but he couldn't this is why the two brothers were never close.
Jughead was not the only one who had this mind set the serpents never thought he was cut out to have the crown.In all honesty archie could not fight there opinions cause they were all true.
The one thing archie wanted was to be a normal teenager but he could never have the privilege.
