After a series of twisting hallways and corridors, Athena had finally reached the entrance to Block 1, where there was a set of locked steel doors.

There was a security pad on the wall next to the doors, where an ID was supposed to be scanned.

She was thinking of ways to get through, when suddenly the doors started to open.

She scrambled up to the wall behind the door and flattened herself against it as the door was opened further.

A man in a uniform was marching out of Block 1, only a few inches away from her, but as he passed her, she reached out with one hand, and quickly slipped his ID out of his pocket.

The man didn't notice, and he continued to walk down the corridor until he disappeared around the corner just as the metal doors closed automatically.

With the man gone, Athena took out the ID that she had just stolen, and was starting to make her way towards the scanner.

"Okay, seriously, you've gotta teach me how to do that someday" Aris's voice suddenly said into the ear piece.

Athena jumped in surprise, and was so startled that she nearly dropped the ID.

"Hey, would it be considered disgusting if I ate this doughnut off the floor?"

Athena held her hand up to the side of the earpiece.

"Yes, it would be considered disgusting, and do not eat that" she hissed into the earpiece. "We want to make sure that the security room looks as if no one has been in it since it was last abandoned."

"So I guess that I shouldn't be sitting in this chair that was originally pushed up against the wall then, huh?"

Athena sighed as she held up the ID and placed it against the scanner on the wall.

"Just put it back where you found it" she said.

A red beam ran down the ID slowly, and when it reached the end it glowed green.

The doors swung open automatically, and she ushered herself inside as the doors shut and locked behind her.

Inside the dark, windowless room was a series of several hallways, each of which seemed to go on endlessly.

Block 1 looked very different in person than on a map.

Athena walked down the tenth hallway, and as she started to get closer to Nathaniel Northwest IV's cell, she noticed her heart was starting to beat even faster with each step that she took closer to her destination. She also noticed that all of the cells in this hall were completely empty.

It wasn't really until now that she realized that she was technically going to talk to her grandfather, who had been imprisoned in this place for longer than she had even existed.

What was he like? He must have obviously been a terrible person to be locked up in the most secure place in this prison, or at least his crimes must have been terrible.

What had he gotten arrested for again? Kidnapping? Corruption? Child Abuse? The details were starting to get really blurry in her mind...

"Hey, don't chicken out now" Aris's voice said to her through the earpiece, interrupting her thoughts.

Athena held her hand up to the side of her earpiece.

"I'm not chickening out" she said.

"Good. Because if you don't make it back to me, I won't get my ten bucks."

Though those words were spoken in jest, Athena could hear the concern laced into his tone.

She couldn't help but smile.
