𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐘 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃.

To say that Peter was worried, was a massive understatement. Not that he was embarrassed about the fact that he was dating MJ, is the fact that his family were going to embarrass him. His family just so happened to be the Avengers, after the one and only Tony Stark adopted him after his Aunt May kicked him out after finding out his superhero identity.

He wasn't too worried about what Natasha, Wanda and Pepper we're going to say - as they were the least embarrassing ones. But Clint, Tony, and Scott were his worst nightmares.

Peter was currently sat on the floor in the Avengers common room, playing Mario Kart with Clint - obviously, Peter was beating him.

Sat on the sofas around him was the rest of his family. And MJ was meant to arrive any minute.

The team didn't know they were dating, as they thought they were close friends. Peter had decided it would just be better to tell them all at the same time.

"Mr Parker, Michelle Jones is on her way up."

"Thanks FRIDAY."

"Oooh, Petey, isn't that the girl you have a crush on?" Clint teased.

"Shut up, Clint," Peter mumbled, as he lobbed a pillow into the back of his uncle's head.

"Excuse you."

"That's what you get, Birdbrain," Peter retorted, as Natasha, who was sat on the sofa behind, smirked.

About a minute later, the elevator door opened, and MJ stepped out, looking nervous, which was rare for the girl. Peter jumped up as he saw her, and went to put his arms around her.

"Guys. This is MJ, my girlfriend."

"Well that's one blunt way to put it," MJ snorted.

"I like her already," Natasha said.

"Peter! You didn't tell me or Pepper you had a girlfriend. We're your parents!"

"Just told you."

Wanda got off the couch, and strolled over to them both.

"Hi, I'm Wanda Maximoff. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Michelle, but you can call me MJ."

Wanda smiled warmly at her, and the three of them walked over to the rest of the team.

"MJ, meet Tony, Pepper, Steve, Bucky, Sam, Natasha, obviously you just met Wanda, Vision, Scott, Hope, and Clint, who is very annoying so be aware of that."

"Hey!"

"Loki and Thor are currently in Asgard, so you can meet them when they come back."

"Hello, MJ, it's nice to finally meet you. Peter talks about you a lot," Pepper says, as Peter looked down at his feet, blushing.

MJ looks slightly awestruck at the fact that she had just been greeted by her idol - Pepper Potts, or Pepper Stark, as she was now. She hastily said hello, as the rest of the team had come up to meet her.

"I'm Steve, this is Bucky. Nice to meet you. Are you staying for dinner?" Steve asked, as he stuck out his hand.

MJ took it in hers as she said, "pleasure to meet you Mr Rogers, Mr Barnes. And yes, if that is alright with you, I would love to stay for dinner."

Clint groaned.

"What?" Nat asked him.

"Now that means I'm gonna get less Thai," he said, as Natasha chucked another pillow at the back of his head.

"Ow! What's with everyone being horrible to poor Clint today?" He asked.

"You're being an asshole."

"Language!"

"Shut up Stevie."

Peter rolled his eyes.

"They're always like this," he whispered to his girlfriend, who chuckled. 

"So, MJ, who's your favourite avenger?" Tony asked, obviously expecting the answer to be him.

"Natasha. She, Pepper, and Wanda are like my idols."

"Ha! In your face Tin Can!" Natasha said, as she moved up on the couch, making room for MJ to sit in between her and Wanda. MJ sat down, and then became fully engrossed in conversation with the two female superheroes.

Peter smiled to himself.

"Not as bad as I thought."
