A/N considering it's nearly Halloween and I just calved a pumpkin so why not :))

"Get off your asses! We're calving pumpkins," Peter announced to the people in the room. Everyone (by everyone I just mean the OG avengers + Wanda Bucky and Sam) looked at him, confused.

"And where do you think we're going to get pumpkins from? Also, language," said Steve who was watching TV and eating ice cream with Bucky next to him.

"Me and Tony are going to go to the shops now and get some," Peter said, smirking at him as Tony rolled his eyes.

"Why me? Just go with Nat and Clint."

"Me and Wanda will go with you Peter," said Nat, glaring at Tony. "Let's go."

Nat, Peter and Wanda weren't gone long and before the Avengers knew it they were back with 10 pumpkins.

"How did you even manage to carry those," Clint said.

"We struggled. Now shut up and help me," Nat said whilst dumping 2 pumpkins into Clint's arms, and then everyone came over and chose which one they wanted.

"What is this pumpkin calving that you Midguardians talk of?" Thor asked.

"It's quite self explanatory Thor," Tony said.

"Lay off him! He's clearly never done it before," Peter said whilst glaring at Tony.

Everyone carried their pumpkins over to the table and decided on their designs. Peter and Nat decided to do a spider, Bruce did shrek, Tony did the iron man mask (obviously), Sam did Bucky and Steve kissing, Clint did a cat, Wanda and Bucky did ghosts, Thor did a clown and Steve did america's ass.

Everything was going smoothly until Peter decided it was funny to grab a handful of pumpkin and throw it at the back of Sam's head. Sam was offended, and obviously threw some back at him. However it ended up hitting Tony who retaliated by throwing some at Steve and Bucky.

Eventually, there was a massive fight and everyone was throwing bits of pumpkin at each other. Clint, Tony, Steve and Bucky had pumpkin down the side of their faces, Wanda Nat and Thor had a bit of it tangled in their hair, and Peter Bruce and Sam had it all over their clothes.

And that's how their halloween tradition started.
