Pool Party

As (YN) opened the Library doors, Chihiro panted and held her hands onto her knees as she finally caught up. (YN) couldn't help but smile as they walked into the library and met with Byakyua, Celestia, and Toko within their respective seats.

Celestia: I see you've made a full recovery from what happened. I'm quite glad.
Byakyua: Indeed. Now, I have already set up the pieces for us. Just as we have left them. Sit yourself down and we may continue our game.
(YN): Someone is eager.
Byakyua: I finally met someone with a voice that holds as much weight as my own. It isn't often I may relish within the moment of having a true rival.
(YN): I'm considered People!

As Chihiro seated herself next to me, everyone began to watch us play. I was relieved that Toko was currently in a calmed state because that clearly made Chihiro more comfortable.

I could tell she was comfortable by how she was currently on me with her head on my shoulder while she watched me play. It was comparable to when a pet sleeps on your lap or against your arm.

If I moved, even a little, I would be a horrible human being.

As Byakyua took finally stole my king, I chuckled as he smirked at a 4th victory out of the 7 we played.

Byakyua: And, of course, the victory comes to me.
(YN): Don't go tootin' your horn to soon. I may just win next game.
Byakyua: Then I'll ensure that you don't. Not when I implore my many strategies.
Celestia: As impressive as you two are, We seem to have visitors.

We all turned over to see that Kyoko and Naegi approached us. While Naegi seemed eager, with his signature bright smile, Kyoko had a slight hint of red upon her cheeks. The reason as to why seemed to be because they were holding hands.

I gave Naegi an all-knowing grin, which he stammered and hushed me as a response.

(YN): It's swe-
Naegi: AYE! Aye, uh.. So I was thinking.. Would you all like to come join us at the pool? Everyone else already agreed so.. I think it would be a fun chance to maybe relieve ourselves and spend some time with everyone. You all in?
(YN): Heck Yeah!
Chihiro: Sure!
Toko: If Mr. Togami allows it..
Byakyua: You may. And I may just join after I finish putting every game back into the cabinet.
Celestia: I believe it would be for the best for everyone to be within a close range. Yes, I'll be coming with.

As Byakyua began to put everything away, we all went ahead and walked to the changing rooms. With Naegi and Kyoko still holding hands, I couldn't hold back from wanting to mess with them. However, Celestia caught me before I could do such a thing.

Celestia: I'm amazed as to how, despite going on the rampage that you were on, Everyone still seems so calm around you. You truly must be the king within this kingdom.
(YN): Again, I'm a friend. Not a King, Nor a Sheppard. I just want to protect everyone.
Celestia: Just as a King would. Speaking of which, Congratulations.
(YN): Congratulations? For what?
Celestia: You have officially reached Rank A. I'd treat that as a great honor if I were in your shoes.
(YN): Can you explain what that means?
Celestia: I keep a ranking on everyone around me. From Rank A-F, everyone is ranked.
(YN): I take it that being Rank A is good?
Celestia: I'd consider it a great honor, My dear. After all, Rank D is where my knights, such as little Naegi, belong. As Rank A, You are officially my king.
(YN): Your King?
Celestia: Indeed. And I would be more then happy to be the Queen at your side, ruling over this little kingdom of ours.

What... an offer? I glanced down at Chihiro, who was glaring at Celestia. It didn't exactly take a genius to know that the glare was fueled by jealousy. I have never seen such an expression on the little one before... and honestly, I am pretty glad. It addressed something I knew, but couldn't address.
