Chp 2-

Castiel-

Castiel walked into Algebra. When he entered, the teacher gave him a weird look while eating a sandwich. After she swallowed her bite she almost did a double take because she finally recognized who is was, "oh, you must be the newbie, I'm Ms. Tran," The female teacher said to him, then faced the many rows of desks filled with students, "class, this is our new student, Castiel Novak. Is there something that you would like to tell us about yourself, Castiel?"

The young Angel shook his head and walked to a desk in the back of the room. He had nothing interesting to say about himself, well other than being an -almost-angel of the lord.

According to the rules of heaven, Castiel must reach his seventeen-thousandth year to be considered an actual grown angel. That means Castiel had only one year to go -for he is sixteen-thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine- until he can fully hide his wings from the human eye. This shall be a weight off of Castiel's shoulders; literally.

Thinking about heaven reminded Castiel of how much he actually missed his home. With It's healthy trees and freshly cut grass with flowers poking up from the ground. He had a bench where he would watch the bees collect nectar from said flowers and carry it off to their hives somewhere in the forest. It really calmed Castiel in his times of need.

Suddenly, a rough male voice interrupted his thoughts, "hey, uh, Castiel, what are yah drawin'?"

Castiel's head shot up to see green eyes, like really green eyes, but that wasn't what caught Castiel's attention. He saw his soul, it didn't look like any normal human soul, it was the brightest soul Castiel has ever seen and that's saying something for Castiel has seen many souls in his many years of life, and none of them were as bright as this one. Which reminded him of an old tale of a righteous man that Gabriel told him in the earliest of his fladgling stage. The righteous man has been told to have the brightest soul an angel has ever seen. Anna would always say that the tales where never true, but deep down Castiel always new that there was a righteous man and this individual just proved it.

"uhm, Castiel? You know staring isn't nice... Whats with the squinty eyes thing?" Castiel blinked a few times as he felt a weird sensation sneak up his back and onto his cheeks, "my apologies, I was, uh, just thinking.."

~Dean~

Damn, this kid has some blue eyes, and his deep, gravely voice, that Dean, in fact, did not expect to come out of this guy's mouth.

"Right, so anyways, what are you drawing?" Dean asked as he pointed to the picture on Castiel's desk.

When Castiel was about to answer him the teacher yelled, "Mr. Winchester, what is the answer to this equation?" she pointed to the math problem on the board, "or did you not do yo homework like you were supposed to?"

Dean huffed and rolled his eyes, "whoops, my bad."

Ms. Tran squinted at Dean then looked at Castiel, "Mr. Novak, how about you? Can you solve the problem?" Castiel perked his head up. He squinted and tilted his head a bit, then said, "'X'equals negative nine."

"Thank you Mr. Novak," Ms. Tran said, "Only if there were more students as clever as you." She mentioned the last part a bit louder as her gaze switched to Dean.

Dean crossed his arms, "I think I'm pretty clever."

"Yeah? Well, I think you're pretty annoying." Ms. Tran gave a mocking smile as she plopped down in her computer chair.

"Screw you, I'm adorable." He pursed his lips as he mumbled to himself.

Dean watched as Castiel laughed slightly -which made his heart flutter for some weird reason-, he looked down once again and fixed his beanie. Dean had to admit, the beanie looked pretty damn good on him.

"Alright Mr. Smarticus, you never told me what you were drawing." Castiel perked his head up at the nickname.

"um, its my old home, i guess you could say."

"That's neat, so I guess you miss it then, huh?" Castel nodded a reply.

Dean leaned closer to get a better look at the drawing. It was amazing, it had every tiny little detail that you would find in a real scenery, "whoa."

"Mr. Winchester, leave the new student alone and pay attention!"

~Gabriel~

In Physics, Gabriel walked to the back of the room with a wicked grin on his lips. He just got detention for replacing all of the dry-erase markers with permanent ones.

Mrs. Harvelle rolled her eyes with a sigh, "sorry for that guys, looks like we have another class clown."

Gabriel furrowed his eyes when she said class clown. he raised his hand and said, "um, yeah, I am far more experienced than some 'class clown', I was just testing my new surroundings for when the tricks get more... profound," He rubbed his hands together menacingly with a wicked grin, "and who is this other class clown?"

"Charlie Bradbury, she still freaks me out, " Mrs. Harvelle shivered slightly to show her discomfort.

"Huh, is that so..." Gabriel trailed off in thought.

There must be only one! Gabriel is the archangel of trickery, and he is not gonna let some 'Charlie Bradbury' get in the way of his title.

Gabriel was pulled from his thought by a small laugh coming from behind him, "wh-"

When Gabriel turned around he saw that the brown haired boy was laughing at him. His hair slightly curled past his ears. Gabriela's eyes scanned his body further, glancing at his broad shoulders under that red flannel, his firm jawline, finally leading up to his hazel eyes...then Gabriel realized he had been busted.

Gabriel tried to act as if that never happened, "Uuh, w-what was funny?"

"You're crazy, yah know that? 'Archangel', wow."

Gabriel went wide-eyed, he said his rant out loud? He went and did it now. The boy wouldn't quit laughing though. Could he think that Gabriel was just messing around, or just came out of a mental institution?

Gabriel just decided to play it cool, "nah, I'm just a trickster, names Gabriel. You can call me Gabe." He winked.

Gabriel held out his hand for the brown haired boy, "yeah, I'm Sam," Sam took the outstretched hand and shook it.

"Gabriel! Pay attention, please!" Gabriel rolled his eyes and turned around. "Stupid humans." he mumbled to himself.

~Sam~

Gabe seemed like a nice kid, with his eyes like sunlight shining through whiskey, Gabriel Novak. This boy couldnt leave sam's mind. He was a weird individual, but he was an alright kid.

"psst. Hey, do you want some candy?" Sam looked down to see a cherry sucker held by Gabriel.

"yeah, sure," he grabbed and unwrapped the sucker, popping it into his mouth. He tastes the cherry goodness leave the sucker every time he sucked on it. ((*winky face*))

"Thanks." Gabriel smiled in satisfaction as he turned around before the teacher could yell at him again.

Sam doesn't really like sweets, but something about Gabriel made him actually want it. Sam moved the sucker around in his mouth before he drifted off into the world of day dreaming.
