~Gabriel~
"Do you know how friggin' risky that was, Castiel?!" Gabriel nearly shouted. Oh he was furious. He could've been caught, he could've been killed, he could've been taken away to be researched on. Yeah, Gabriel was having non of that.
"I-I don't know what happene, Gabriel, honest!" Castiel couldn't look Gabriel in the eyes with the look the he was giving him as he continued. "I was here one second, gone the next!"Goodness this kid is gonna be the death of me, Gabriel thought.
"Castiel, how? Did someone summon you?""How am I supposed to know? All I do know is that I felt grave pain, I appeared in the woods, I saw a man beating Dean, I did something to him, I put him to sleep or something then I did the same to Dean, and now I'm back here without memory of the rest of last night."
This made an idea pop into Gabriel's head, "he must've prayed for your help..." He did see one flaw in his 'suggestion' though. "But how was he powerful enough to make you appear there?" Gabriel asked himself more than anyone else. He could faintly hear Michael and Balthazar bickering in the background while he thought.
"I could feel where he got hurt Gabriel... I felt how much it hurt, is that normal?" Castiel interrupted Gabriel's train of thought for the moment, throwing more questions and suggestions than eliminating them.
"No. But you and Gabby here do need to go to school, thought. Don't need to break your good attendance just yet." Balthazar stepped in the conversation, "Me and Michael will think this over but for the moment, of to school, children." He gave them a somewhat mother-teasing smile.
Gabriel went over this information in his head as he and Castiel walked the way to school, eliminating every impossible thing, grasping onto every 'realistic' thing. All until he came down to one possible reason that explain everything basically- well almost everything.
~Dean~
Dean sat in his car with Sam in the passenger seat, both waiting in the school parking lot for no particular reason. He dragged Sam put of the house after their dew and dirt covered father randomly busted through the back door, looking like someone dropped him in a dumpster and left him to the dogs after they covered him in early morning dew. He was furious, very furious. Dean grabbed Sam by his arm before he could finish breakfast and dragged him out to the impala and know here they are, sitting in silence in the school parking lot, again for no particular reason, other than the one question that was burning itself into Dean's brain, itching him to ask it. So he did."Why, uh, why was dad in the yard?" He rubbed the back of his neck before turning to Sam.
"I saw you both outside so I dragged to the couch, can we go now?" Sam sounded very impatient this morning.
"Why, why were we outside?"
"Can we talk later? I really don't want to be late, Dean." Dean saw Sam clench his jaw as he gripped the door handle tighter.
"Why, Sam?" Dean knew he was pushing his luck with him. If Sam never wanted to talk about something, then he won't say anything at all until he's damn well ready too. Something Dean knows Sam does all too well.
"Dean, please. I don't want to talk about it right now." Dean gave up, he knew he wasn't gonna win this battle, not this time at least."
"Fine. C'mon." Dean sighed, this was going to be a long day.
Right when he was about to walk into the school building he saw those familiar black hair and blue eyes. "Hey, Cas." He gently bumped his shoulder as he walked beside him. "Uh, Gabe is here also."
~Gabriel~
"Hey, Gabriel." Sam smile while waving slightly. Well, at least moose boy noticed him. Gabriel smiled back, slightly fonder than normal. He caught Dean's eyes so he could look into his soul, so he could confirm -or not- that Dean is, in fact, the righteous man.
The brightness caught him off guard, he had to look away for a split second before looking back at Dean's confused eyes. "You okay there, Gabe?"
"Uh, yeah" Yup. Dean's the righteous man, no doubt about it.
He leaned closer to Castiel, "congratulations, you're the guardian angel of the righteous man, Cassie."
