A few days later i still was thinking about it. 5 seconds of summer?? I had never heard of them so I went on to google and typed their name. A link to youtube came up and I clicked it.
A group of 3 boys about my age came up doing a cover of blink 182 i miss you. They were quite good actually. What was i gonna do they seemed like nice guys and just to make sure i called Reyna, she got me into this so now she was going to help me decide.
"Hello?" she sayd "Hey, do me a favor and look up 5 seconds of summer into youtube" I told her. "Sure....wait what the heck is that?"
"Its a band...come on just look it up"
"k?" as i heard the music in the back ground "who is this? theyre good"
"i know and one of them commented on my video saying if i want to work with them and i dont know so i came to you... what do you think?"
"You have to do it. It will be fun.. wait.. wait ..imma go to your house, hold on ill be there in 10 minutes....bye"
She hung up and i texted heidi to meet us at my house.
After a few minutes they where both there. I showed Heidi their cover and she agreed with the idea ,so i decided to email the boy back.
"Hey Calumn! It's me Leslie, the girl from youtube and sorry it took so long to respond but i would love to work with you guys it seems like a great oportunity. How are we going to do it and i dont know any thing from you guys exept that you guys sing great. Well, thanks i hope you respond soon" -Leslie :)
We hoped for a quick response but nothing came up. We watched two whole seasons of American Horror story but nothing from the guy.It was about 11 pm when heidis mom texted she needed to head home and then just 30 minutes Reyna did too. I decided I would go to bed and maybe he would respond the next day.
*****BEEP*****BEEP*** I woke up. It was 3 am!!! I check my laptop and it was Calumn!Why the hell is he waking me up couldnt he had waited till the morning!!
"Hey Leslie! Im sorry I couldnt answer earlier but I was in school. Great! im so exited you want to work with us! I think it will be much easier to set up a plan through a call so if you could just give me a call at #############" -Calumn:)
I decided to call him since I was already awake.

"Hello" It was a strong austrailian accent.
"Umm...hello is this Calumn Hood ?" I was so shoked and surprised of the accent
" Yeah! Its me. Is this Leslie?"
"umm.. yeah"
"well hey how you doing?"
"Great..umm...Where are you from"
"Haha im from austrailia and im guessing youre from the states?"
"Yeah haha" so thats why he responded when i was asleep.
"So im guessing this is going to be harder than we thought...but if you want to get to know us better were at practice so you wanna skype?"
"Yeah sure bye"
"bye"
I RAN to the restroom to wash my face comb my hair and since my hair is naturally straight it was fine, I ran to change my shirt into the first thing i could find wich was my old Nirvana tshirt when i heard the skype ring tone.I ran to my laptop and awensered.
All three boys from the video where there and they seemed to be in a garage.
"Hello!!!" they all sayd in a chorus.
"Hey Im Leslie!"
"im Calumn"
"Im Luke"
"Hey Im Michael"
Luke: hey love your shirt
they seemed really nice.
Calumn:so how old are you
Me: 16 and you guys?
Calumn:same
eventually me and calumn began talking more while the boys started to play fight and began to play around but calumn eventually took over the laptop as i laughed at how childish and playful they were. Me and Calumn had a long talk and he was really funny and sort of cute. suddenly I see calumn saying no between his teeth and then "ill be right back"he runs off and i can hear him chase michael and luke comes to the camara and makes weird faces along with the weird effects on. I began lauging when i hear calumn say " guys your emberassing me" and michael comes in the back ground dressed as a banana and starts dancing when calumn also apears in the back groung with his hand in his face. He walks towards the camara.
Calum: sorry leslie umm.. these two idiots are just .. i dont know
Me: Its fine hahaha you guys are hilarius
i kept talking to the guys until about 6am and i wasnt so worried because it was a sunday and i could just sleep all day.
I yawned and calumn sayd " you seem tired maybe you should go sleep"
"yeah although its already 6 am here haha well guys talk to you some other time. great meeting you."
i clossed my laptop and went to sleep
