I W O N D E R
My mind grazes the topic of you
But all it creates is uncertain space
All I have is an artificial face-
Of you.
All I have are dots that don't connect
Feelings I don't need to protect
And I future I don't know is true.
But I hope this universe will lead me to you.
No, I know it will
Because cupid's learnt to kill.
With two arrows in the heart
And if you can take that wound,
And that ever-present gloom of searching
I know we have a chance.
If you can get these demons to dance
Heaven will show us the door
Because i'd tread on burning rocks to get to you.
And giving up is just singing satans song.
And we would be doing the universe wrong
If we turned a blind eye.
Because I would hear
A glimmer in my heart if you were near.
Because if we're meant to be
If there's any credit to destiny
Our future will be long.
Our game is like the lottery
What day will you appear
Will it be a mockery
A boy to relenquish the fear
Will it be a good fling
Or finally you the king.
Only time will know.
The seed of hope only continues to grow.
I wonder if you do the same
If you think about these things
Or if in truth you call them lame.
But for now i'll work on myself
Because it'll help our general health.
Make sure you do the same.
We should meet as king and queen
And create our own team,
Never just a name.
