Wrap me in your words
Yet feed me with your meaning
Engrave me in your chapters
Lace me in your feeling
And enunciated word
Drift me away with your eloquent speech
Let me float on what you don't say
And devour what you do.
It's the resonance of your voice
That to me is most important
Lengthen my spine,
Protect me with punctuation
Make me smile with your puns
And be a joker holding all the right cards.
As its your language that moves me
Just as much as your physical touch
So tell me what I need to hear
And that will be the beginning to enough.
