Okay, so-- I had this in drafts for awhile-- and I've decided to write this AU in book format! (Some is already published!)
Basically: Longtail loses his sight by saving his apprentice, Sootpaw in the time span of right after Firestar's Quest and New Prophecy. He is captured by Twolegs that manage to save some of his eyesight. He leaves in search of the Clans beside a former clanmate... and a Kittypet.
