Part 1

SINCE Lauren Michelle Jauregui is still a kid, she always follows what her father Michael Jauregui wants, the CEO and owner Jauregui Corp. Her father shows her and wants her to learn everything, small or big, simple or not, because all of those stuff her heart begins to numb like she has no emotions left in her system. She was like a shadow to her father, a puppet on a string moved by her master. Her mother died from depression because of her father. She was an only child, the heiress of JC. Especially a marriage in her young age she accepts it because her father told her so.

"You know Lucy Vives?"

"Yes father, I know her."

"Marry her, she's the right one for you and she was a big help in our company."

"I will father, if that's what you want."

"Good, that's my daughter."

As simple as that and Lauren married Lucy after her father told her so. Their relationship as married couple is sucks there's no sex involve, they slept in different room, like they are married in a paper only. They've kissed but no feelings attached. Because of it, Lucy became impatient who is slowly falling in love with Lauren, but little she did know Lauren had no feelings for her, because in that woman's vocabulary love is not on the list. Until Michael had a heart attack and didn't recover, he was declared dead before he got into the hospital. Lauren didn't even laid a single tear when her father died even in his funeral. Because of what happened, Michael's wealth becomes Lauren's wealth, as the only heiress of Michael Jauregui she become the CEO and the Chairwoman of the Jauregui Corp. and she is still turning 18, a high school student. Ally Brooke Hernandez, Michael's secretary becomes Lauren's guardian and she was there in Lauren's side every step of the way she made. But sadly Lucy is still with her.

"Lauren don't you want to go home? You know, your wife is waiting for you."

"Just let her."

"Sorry Lauren, may I interrupt?"

"Sure, what is it Ms. Ally?"

"Hope you understand, I was just concerned about you."

"I know that and I thank you for that, but what is it?"

"Lucy and you are already married for 4mos but still no progress."

"It was not my fault, it was hers, she annoys me everytime."

"You're at fault too Lauren," and Lauren look at her.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You didn't act as her wife."

And Lauren sighed, "it's my father's wish, not mine."

"I'm sorry Lauren but your father is already dead, start making your own decision, it's time for you to step out of your father's shadows, you're not living your life as what you want, I bet you don't love Lucy."

"Yes, I don't love her and I don't even know what it means."

And Ally understand, she witnessed everything, how Lauren obeys everything that Michael wants, "what do you really want Lauren? You're still young that need to explore the world, all of your life spins in the world of business, in your father, you're not living, that's not called life if you tell me, go out and experience life."

"I don't know Ms. Ally," she answered, her heart beats faster like she was afraid, it's her first time, afraid and at the same time, nervous and excitement, it mixes.

"Don't regret it in the end, if you don't love your wife go file a divorce and live your life as what you want."

"Father didn't teach it to me."

"Ugh, sorry for saying this Lauren but your father is an asshole, just a little bit and you will be a heartless bitch."

And Lauren chuckled.

"I'll be here if you need me, I teach you, that's what a guardian means, right?"

And Lauren smiled, "okay Ms. Ally, I'll do it."

"Do what you feels like."

And Lauren nod.

IT was late at night when Lauren got home at her house with Lucy when her wife faced her and she saw beside her the luggage.

"Don't stop me, I can't take it anymore."

Lauren gave her wife a cold stare, "then why are you still here if you don't want me to stop you? Do you want me to stop you?"

Lucy clenched her fist at the respond of her wife, her teeth is gritting with madness, "hell no!"

"Then you are free to leave," and she passed through her.

"Lauren!"

And Lauren stopped at her tracks not bothering to look at her.

"I don't want it anymore."

"Do you want a divorce, like we don't know each other? Well then I will give it to you, first thing in the morning," and she continued her way up to her room in the 2nd floor, "asked Ms. Ally about it," and she stop when she reach the 2nd floor then she took the wedding band off her finger and massage it then look at to Lucy downstairs, she then throw carelessly the ring to Lucy, "throw it in the trash can will you? Don't forget to lock the door," and she went to her room without leaving any other word.

"DAMN YOU JAUREGUI!! GO TO HELL!!!" and she marched out of the house.

The last thing that Lauren heard outside her room is the slam of the door in her house and she then sighed.

AND voila! Lauren and Lucy filed a divorce immediately.

"Ms. Ally did I do right thing?"

"If you feel at ease, then you are," and she place the clipboard in the Lauren's desk.

"I am, I feel at ease."

"See? It's not that hard, isn't it?"

"Yeah, you're right."

"Do you want to go to school? Finish your high school."

"I want to, but can I still go to high school?"

"Of course, don't worry about it leave it to me."

"Okay, thank you and I want you to sell the house I live with Ms. Vives, find me a house that is not far from the school and here, a condo is enough."

"Okay Lauren, right away."

"The documents we had with the Vives take care of it I don't want any connections with them, even here in my company or any other branches."

"How about the Board, Lauren, did you already talk about it with them?"

"Yes, they already know about it and they let me handle it as long as it didn't bother them."

"Okay Lauren."

"Make sure that I don't have any connections with them."

"Of course, Lauren," Ally answered with a smile.

Lauren did took Ally's advice and she slowly understand the things that makes her feel alive and comfortable, even though in all of those stuff that she like there are things that her father didn't like. It was hard for her to disobey her father, but she's happy on what she was doing.
