much to jade's dismay, wednesday had rolled around. it was three in the afternoon and she had nick between her legs as he stared intensely at the tv. her hands were tangled in his somewhat short hair.

she watched him and sadly chuckled to herself, knowing he had no idea what was happening on the tv whatsoever. he wasn't really even watching tv. he was just in a daze, thinking about how lost he might be without jade.

he didn't think he was lost before her, but she made him realize he was in a pretty fucked up place. he didn't want to return to that person.

"nick. I know you aren't watching tv." she laughs and he sighs, his lips curling up into a smile.

"ah you caught me." he says, his face turning beet red.

"come here." jade says to him, putting her arms out for him to crawl up into, and that's what he did. he crawled up into her warm hold and stayed there.

"ima miss you." she says to him and he smirks.

"i know." he says and she scoffs, but reaches beside her to grab her phone.

she taps the notes app and scrolls down to one labeled "thiccolas." she taps on it and clears her throat.

"if this some sappy shit, please don't ima actually start sobbing, yo." he says to her and she giggles.

"i know, fuckhead. i couldn't even hear the perks of being a wallflower over your dramatic ass crying."

he picks his head up off of her chest. "now why you just call me ou- you know what? nevermind." he says and she kisses him. "i'm sorry nicky poo."

"it's okay baby."

she continues to look at her notes app. "so. this is the evolution of my relationship with you. every memory i have about you that stood out to me since we've met. I hope this isn't creepy." she says and nervously chuckles, and he shakes his head. "of course not."

she begins to read them off.

"zion says: this dude fucks like it's a religion." nick facepalms, but laughs nonetheless. "still do, j. still do." he says and she laughs at him. she admires his long eyelashes as his sharp teeth are put on display when he smiles.

"that was my first impression of you, nick." he puts a hand over his chest. "that actually hurts me, j."

"what, why!?" she shouts and he laughs.

"because my first impression of you was at the dance studio, but you don't remember."

her eyes light up. "no fucking way you remember!"

"i do indeed."

"omg, i could never forget! your voice sounded so sexy! i literally wanted to pounce on you. you looked so fucking good, all sweaty and stu-"

"i get it jade, i'm pretty fucking hot. get to the point." he sarcastically interrupts and she playfully slaps him.

"the point is, i never mentioned it because i thought it would be creepy if i remember and you didn't." she trails.

"i could never forget." his brown orbs pour into hers. the contrast in their skin was beautiful as they held hands.

"the exact same day, you get super close to me and whisper in my ear "you didn't answer my question, ma." it made me shiver, nick. like you have no idea how much that did to me."

"oh shit! I remember that! you got all nervous and submissive. you was stuttering and shit." he points at her and laughs like a child, making her face heat up.

"you're really so annoying." she says and he nods his head, knowingly. "I love you too."

"then the day of- you know- the facetime call, you told me I was too pretty to be frowning over you." he nods his head. and then says "to this day." like the meme.

"then you said your lil saying to me. you said 'you're so fucking perfect it's a problem, jade.' you told me it was a problem because you wouldn't be able to get ur hands off of me but now I know it's because I was the side ch-"

"JADE!" nick says burying his face into the crook of her neck and she cackles. "I'm teasing you, nick. it's what ansley does to austin and it's so funny." she says to him, but he still feels bad. he pulls back to look her in the eyes.

"I'm sorry for that. forever, baby." he gets serious and she smiles at him.

"i know, babe. I forgive you." she said to him and he poked his lip out, frowning. she thought it was adorable and took that as an opportunity to kiss his pouty lips softly, and he of course melts into it. she pulls away, wanting to finish her presentation.

"oh, and when you recruited brandon to help get my necklace, which I love, by the way." she says, fiddling with the turtle-shaped rock on her neck. he smiles, still very proud of himself, despite the help he had from brandon.

"the point is- i love you and ima miss you." she says and he nods, leaning in to kiss her.

they spent the rest of wednesday going down memory lane. they went to the place where their first date took place and watched another movie that nick somehow knew the entire script of- 'house bunny'. they hung out at the dance studio, she even let him cook while pushing her out of the kitchen. as much as it annoyed her, it was another one of his unique traits. she could never get tired of it.

that night she went to sleep in his arms, as much of her body touching his as possible. she was sad, knowing that in only seven hours, she'd be on a flight back to texas and away from nick.

he watched her as her chest rose and fell peacefully. he rubbed circles on her butt, something that for some reason soothed her. he was missing her deeply and she hasn't even left yet.

he wished she wasn't leaving at all, but he knew her mind was made up.
