Charlie POV
“You boys can have a bit of a break. We’ll try again later.” Louis says rubbing the back of his neck. I don’t think he likes how we have split the song. I think he is still thinking about splitting the group. I really hope not, I wouldn’t be able to stand watching someone leave, or leaving myself. Being the youngest of the band I am most likely the one if anyone to cut from the band.
“Charlie, what you thinking about?” Reese asks me.
“What? Nothing why?”
“Your totally zoned out buddy.” Reese laughs and I notice that the rest of the band has left. I swipe a hand through my hair making sure my quiff isn’t flattened. Reese and I head back to the Land Rover that can barely seat the 8 of us, and Tom is behind the wheel.
“Can we go to the girls flat?” James asks.
“Doesn’t the Little one have class today?” Casey asks.
“NO!” I say defensively. “It’s Saturday you nitwit.” Tom takes the street to the girls flat instead of our own and some of the boys cheer and the others pretty much just don’t care.
“Do you think Louis is gonna split our group?” I ask. The car gets silent. With 2 boys it’s not quite so with 8 quiet boys its scary.
“I don’t know lil’ buddy, I hope they do though.” Barclay says.
“TELL IT TO ENRIQUE!” Reece yells. I may have angered him bringing up the subject. “There are eight of us and we all want this the same, but its too hard, for the fans, and for Louis. Maybe he will consider to see where it goes and maybe he won’t. Charlie this is out of our control, we’re pretty much back at boot camp where we either make it or break it.” Reese explains Tom pulls up to the girls flat.
Though that wasn’t exactly what I was asking I don’t bring the subject up. The girls house has been the hangout house for everyone because there is the most room. It’s sad really that two of the girls went home.
James of course doesn’t even knock he just goes right on in the flat. We are greeted by Lola and Lauren the last if the girls. There’s a girl sitting on the couch next to Lauren. She looks like she’s my age except she actually LOOKS that age unlike me who’s been said to look like a 20 year old.
“Hey guys.” Lauren calls from the couch. It looks like they are getting to know each other the way they are positioned on the couch.
“More people.” The girl whines to Lauren. She looks like she could be a mini Lauren. Except her eyes are green instead of brown and the tips of her hair aren’t a light brown color. She is really pretty.
“Hello to you too.” I say to the girl. She stays nearly behind Lauren.
“This is my sister Claire.” Lauren introduces.
Oh I remember her, well I remember that she thought we were hot because her conversation the other day with Lauren.
“So you think we’re hot?” Reese cheekily asks.
“Leave her alone, she’s only fourteen.” Lauren scolds.
Claire’s eyes narrow and she winces when Lauren says her age.
“So is Charlie and he can stand up for himself, I’m sure she can too. Plus I was only joking okay Lauren, I’m sorry.”
“ I forgive you.” Lauren shrugs, Claire whispers something in her ear.
“Claire this is,Charlie, Reese, James, Barclay,Chris, Jake, Casey, Tom and I’m positive I have named them all.”’
“You didn’t say me.” I tease.
“Charlie.” Claire smirks.
“She talks.” Barclay gasps.
“Could say the same for you.” She snaps causing me and the other guys to make that ‘ooo’ sound. Lauren looks down at her sister clearly trying to look mad at Claire but fails and ends up laughing.
“Excuse my sister, she has a slight temper.”
“Like Reese.” I state.
“She doesn’t get mad as easily as Reese though.” Lauren says, we have all seen how fast Reese can go from playful and happy to strict and serious.
“I think you guys should get to know each other.” Lauren says directly to me. I’m quite taken back by why me. “I bet it would be nice for there to finally be someone about you age around.”
“I’m only here for today.” Claire says.
“For now.” Lauren whispers loudly.
“Awwwww.” Reese coo’s pinching my cheek. I slap away Reese hand from my face and shrug. I see Claire glaring at Lauren.
“You too run off now so the big kids can talk.” Tom jokes.
“My sister is not a child. I mean she is but she isn’t that young and the only one who can call her a child is me.”
“Austin and Alina call me a child.” Claire sounds annoyed. Probably by her sisters overprotectiveness.
“They aren’t aloud to.”
“Is Austin like your boyfriend or something.”
“Eww, no…. he’s a friend.”
“Besides she isn’t aloud to date until she’s sixteen. Or until I see a really hot guy who I think is perfect for my baby sister.”
“Shut-up.” Claire yells. I laugh at their bickering.
Claire POV
Everyone is talking and I’m just sitting there listening. I don’t even know what they are talking about. I think they are talking about how many flowers they have gotten on twitter since just recently.
“Are you bored?” Charlie asks me.
“Kinda.” I admit.
“I can your boredness.” Follow me.
“Lauren, I’m going somewhere. Call me if you need anything.”
“Don’t be gone long you need to be back by the show which starts at about 8.”
“I’ll be back by then.” I slip on my converse and follow Charlie out the front door.
