"Well?" the large man said with a grin.
"I'll take it." He slid a paper across the desk with my new name, a brand new appartment awaited me near the top floor.
As I sign he repeats "You are making the right choice young man" he is grinning wider than a snake.
"Well Yuuto Maki-san, it is wonderful to do business with your family."
"Right. Can you tell me where to find some good sushi nearby that's cheap?"
"I know a place." his plaster of a grin widens even further.
I'm cowering across the street from a large black man who is shouting out a sales pitch for the sushi joint behind him.
My stomach growls loudly making one sigh as I step out onto the road heading straight for the door.
The large man turned towards me with a smile ''Try sushi? The sushi is good!"
I nod and he steps sideways and motions me inside. Inside are several tables and a bar with an old man preparing food.
He says "what will you have?" without looking at me.
"Tuna." I sit in a seat close to the edge as I wait.
"-and no ladies can resist a guy with charm!" Three children walk in and sit at a table they seem to have sat many times before.
"Righty-ro, Mikado?" he swung his arm over the boy.
''Don't ask me Kida-kun." he sighs seeming exhausted. He lifts his face looking right at me.
Our eyes lock for several seconds before I jump as food is sat in front of me.
A long pointed hand followed by the cotton trim of my jacket reaches past my ear grabbing a piece of my roll.
''Here early for once?" the old man asks, yet again without looking up.
The chair makes a squeak
as the man plops down beside me.
I quickly realize how quiet the room has become as a twisted whistle-of-a-voice pierces my ears.
''I heard my double was seen nearby. I thought I should see this for myself. And how could I miss free otoro?"
Red eyes. Are they real? "Right Maki-chan?"
I can't stop myself from staring, look away!
I can feel him staring as I hop up. "Enjoy."
Even if he looks like a painting, if he is rude then piss off.
I look up as I walk out to see that boy now looking at me with a slightly more curious look.
I shift in my own jacket before hitting the street.
