A hole in the floor

Sam's POV
God.
It was the worst day in my life. Everyone was arguing and screaming and didn't let me say anything. God, I don't wanna meet with this people again but it's only 2th meet up. So there is nothing I can do I guess
                 September 26, 1986
Sam sat on the plastic chairs like the last time and waiting others to come.
She heard screaming on the stairway and guessed that it was Rinata and Phil
"Dad, I'm scared about you"
"You need to accept me Rin"
"Dad no-"
Door opened
"Good evening, lad" -said Phil and walked in with smile like nothing happened
"Hello"- Rin nodded
After some time everyone came and they started to talk about books. Everything seemed to be normal (even if they was arguing a lot) until they decided to take a break
"Break time! I'll give you 10 mins" said Sam
Sasha and Parker started talking, Roderich was drawing in his sketchbook,
Philip was deep in his thoughts, and Rin decided to microwave some food from home. She put the plastic case in the microwave and pushed 6 minutes and 6 seconds then after some minutes she decided to push "666" just for fun. First nothing happened but then the weird noice came on. Everyone looked at the confused Rin and then microwave.
"I guess it's broken"- said confused Rin and fake smiled
But after some seconds the ground started to move. Everyone thought that it's a earthquake.
"We need to leave the room now!!!"-Phil screamed
Suddenly everything stopped and a hole in the floor opened
"What is it?!"- Rin whispered
"DO NOT LOOK IN IT OR JUMP IN IT ITS DANGEROUS"- screamed Phil
"I don't know what it is but imma go get flashlight"-said Sam and ran out of the room.
She was shocked, like everyone. No one ever told her about a secret way, or even a basement. But the room was pretty small to be a basement. And a library was pretty young to have ancient catacombs . But she didn't want to tell manager about the secret way, she wanted to find out the truth by herself.
"Can you give me flashlight please?"- asked Sam while running into the office.
"Why you need it?"
"Well... the light is pretty dull so I can't see the text well"
"Oh ok"- manager said and gave flashlight
To the Sam.
When she returned everyone was around the hole
"I think this is a grave"-said Roderich
"I got flashlight!"
"Give me it!"-said Sasha and took the flashlight
They saw an another stairway that was leading to the darkness
"Should we go?"
"No one is going there!"
"I'm going there!"
"We are going together!"-screamed Sam
She took the flashlight and jumped in, everyone followed her but Phil wasn't really happy about it
"Me and Rin are not going!"
"DAD!"- Rinata screamed and jumped into hole and Phil followed her
After 10 mins of stairs they finally arrived in the large room, it was dark here so they couldn't see anything
"The flashlight is too weak"
"I think I see candles"- Rin said
"I think I see your butt..."
"PARKER!"- Sasha screamed at her boyfriend
"I think I have lighter"
Roderich lighted candles and now they saw the hole room.
It had very high ceiling and was out of stone. In the center was an altar surrounded by many candles and left over stuff by previous visitors, it was: books, mantles, notes
The altar looked like a tree that spread its roots around the room, on the center was a Illuminati symbol.
Roderich picked up an old note from the floor:

"Anyone who found it, or found our altar, please reunite the cult no matter what, January 1, 1942"
