requested by @Antonella020510, sorry this was so late. hope you enjoy! also i had to change the scene up a bit so it fit the request.

"Are you all packed?" Grizz asked me.

I nodded my head as I shrugged on my jacket. We were going to the woods to see if there was a way out of our small town. I was not planning on going at all, but I was not going to let Grizz go without me.

"I'm ready, let's just get this over with." I sighed.

I walked with Grizz out of my house. His tall frame stepping beside me as I struggled a bit to catch up to him. Why did his legs have to be so damn long?

"Are you nervous?" I questioned, breaking the silence.

"Not really. I'm just hopeful I guess." Grizz shrugged. "But you don't have to be nervous. I got you, (Y/n)."

I smiled at him as he ran a pale hand threw his straight hair. He was beyond sweet without even trying to be.

We continued to walk to the woods, getting ready to meet up with the rest of the group. I was happy it wouldn't be just the two of us. Anything could go wrong at any moment.

After a ten minute walk, we both saw the other seniors that would be accompanying us. Luke gave Grizz a nod before smiling at me. I returned the gesture, knowing that I should start making friends with everyone if things got worse.

"Hey. Are we ready to start?" Luke asked. Grizz grunted a 'yes' as he began walking into the woods.

The rest of the group followed, including me. We were all walking for a few minutes as well as keeping an eye out for anything important. I wasn't sure what to look for, but I made sure to just check for any sign of something else besides trees.

"(Y/n)." Grizz said from the front of the group.
He was leading us through the vast woods. I was in the very back, letting everyone walk in front of me.

"Yeah?"

"Come up here." He said as he turned his head. I wouldn't have seen him if he was at a normal height, but his tall stature allowed me to look at his handsome face.

Jeez (Y/n), get over yourself. We're just friends.

I jogged my away around the small group and to the front besides Grizz. I quickly matched his pace as I walked alongside him. Grizz gave me a soft smile as he looked down at me.

"Did you need something?" I questioned. Grizz faltered for a moment, almost as if he had no clue as to why he asked me to come to him.

"Yeah, just wanted to make sure your safe. I don't want you in the back." He said as he faced the front again. I nodded.

"I'm fine. There's nothing out here anyways."

I shoved my hands in the hoodie I was wearing. It was a bit awkward. Why would Grizz care that I was in the back anyway? And it didn't help that I felt the rest of the group staring holes into my skull. I'm sure they were a million questions in their heads by now.
