•I was freaking out.
There was no more fucking coffee.
What the hell was I supposed to do now?
I groaned as I leaned across the granite counter in my friends kitchen. The coffee grain container opened, and of course, empty.
"Where can I even get coffee?" I thought out loud. "The cafeteria? Do they even have that shit?"
I sighed as I slipped on my shoes and jacket. I was going to find a place that had coffee. I didn't care who or where, I was going to get it.
I quickly left the house, and made my way to the center of town. I saw a few people walking along the sidewalk, their groggy faces most likely looking for the delicious drink as well.
A few minutes had passed and I finally spotted the glorious school cafeteria. I grinned in excitement.
Coffee, here I come.
I opened the large doors and stepped inside. There wasn't a lot of people here, which was totally fine with me. It was too early to deal with humans anyways.
Walking over to the food line, I noticed there were a few breakfast sandwiches. I contemplated on grabbing one. Which was more important? Coffee or food?
Both.
Grabbing one, I saw a guy on the other side of the food line. He must have been one of the cooks. He had a mug in his hand as he poured a dark liquid into it, the steam gently wafting into the air.
I gasped. There was coffee! The guy obviously took notice that I was there when he turned around to face me. He had a small smile that adorned his handsome features. I couldn't help but smile back as I found myself walking closer to him.
"Is that coffee?" I asked carefully. I had to be extremely cautious during a time like this. No one liked to share these days.
"Yeah it is." He nodded as he grabbed a second mug. "Want some?"
"Hell yes." I smiled.
He chuckled at my response as he motioned for me to come in the kitchen. I hesitated before finally walking beside him.
"What's your name? I'm Will."
"It's (Y/n)." I replied.
He handed me a cup of coffee and gave me a bottle of creamer. It was hazelnut, which I didn't exactly mind. At least I was getting my coffee, that's all that mattered.
I poured it into the dark liquid and mixed it until it was a creamy tan color. Perfect. I sipped the coffee from the mug, making sure it wasn't too hot. I almost laughed at my actions, who was I kidding? Myself.
I quickly took a few gulps of the magical drink. Letting the caffeine flow through my tired veins. That was so well needed. Damn.
"Coffee addiction I'm guessing?" Will said. I nodded with a small smile on my face.
"I can't help it. It's so fucking good." I sighed out loud. It really was.
"Maybe we should have a coffee date. That is if you really like it." Will replied. I looked at him with my eyes widened slightly before feeling a blush tint my cheeks. He obviously noticed as he smirked at me.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow?"
I nodded my head as I took the last sip of my coffee. I quickly smiled at him before blushing even harder.
"Yeah. That sounds great."
He surprised me with his actions. He took a few steps forward to stand in front of me. All of a sudden, he placed a soft kiss on my cheek.
He grinned at my reaction as he walked away and back into the kitchen. I couldn't see him, but I knew he jut saw me turn into a tomato.
I guess coffee really does bring the best out of us.
