Persuasive: A Marauders Story

A girl is sitting in our cabin. The one we personally scratched our names into. She is a new one. I haven't seen her before. I have to admit she is pretty with her bouncy brown hair and large eyes that looked at us as we entered.

"So.." James begins. "What brings you here?"

I see her gulp. She doesn't answer but pretends she doesn't here.

"Hello?" I ask. "He asked you a question."

She mumbles something like "To learn" and continues to read. 

I slump down on the seat and put my feet up. 

"It feels good to be back!"

James and Peter sit down on the bench next to the strange girl.

~At Hogsmeade Station ~

I walk off with my luggage and see Remus stepping out of the Prefects Cabin. 

"We missed you on the trip!" I say to him. 

"Though there was a girl in the corner reading quietly so it was like you never left!" James grins. 

Wormtail nods in agreement with him. Things never change. 

Remus looks surprised. "Really? Newbie?" We all nod and head for the carridges. "And you say she was reading? Strange." 

"Yeah, and ignored us. Even when we tried to talk. Its.. Weird." Peter says.

"You've got a cheek to talk" I push him slightly and run towards the carridge. I climb on it. I sit on the bench. They all climb in after me. 

"So how was your summer pad...." James stops mid senctence as the same girl from the train arrives.

"I was told to go in a carridge." She says her voice fading. 

"And?" I say smiling. She has a nice voice. Someone who I want to here more of. Wait. Did I just think that? Uggh!

"I'll find another carridge.." She mumbles..

"No. Come on join us." Remus says holding out his hand and helping her up and into the carridge.
