Power Unknown

You Have NO Idea!

Third Person POV

It had been hours since I talked to the team. I had stopped every so often to check on Pidge. She was getting worse and the Red Lion had been losing a lot of power, more than normal.

"Where is all your power going? We haven't been gone that long and you don't lose power that easily."

I made another stop and went into the Green Lion. The shape it was in still made me gag. I saw Pidge and she had somehow made her way to the floor of her lion.

"That is strange. How did she manage that?" I picked her up to put her back in her seat. When I set her down I looked at her to realize there were some new cuts on her wrists. I looked for what could have been the cause of this. It turns out that this was no accident she had woken up just to try and kill her self. I could tell she was the one that did this because there was a knife on the floor near where she was. "Pidge why would you do this to yourself? I mean you have so much going for you, way more than I do."

I left her lion hoping that she would be okay. That is all I could do at this point." I need to get to the castle so I can sit down with her."

I made it to the Castle as soon as I got there everyone was out cold. I didn't want to wake them so I got Pidge and went to the Pods to find them all broken. "Come on, talk about bad timing," I whispered. I cleaned her up a bit better and covered her wrists, so she couldn't cut them anymore. I then picked her up and took her back to her room and put her in bed. I went to go get my pillow and blanket so I could keep an eye on Pidge.

I came back into her room and made my bed on her floor. I also had to make a spot big enough for me. "I honestly never remember Pidge being such a sloppy person.

I woke up a few hours later, from someone shaking me to death. "What the heck do you want Hunk?" I shouted at him.

"shush! When did you get back?" He whispered back.

"A couple of hours ago. Why?"

"Why didn't you wake us? You do realize if the others were to have found you they would through a fit."

"I couldn't leave Pidge for too long, and you know how long that would have taken?"

"True but we need to get Pidge to the med bay."

I didn't say anything I just picked her up and followed Hunk."

"Set her right there. I will be back with the others."

"Okay. Hurry please."

I looked at Pidge. Her bandages were covered in blood. Her wrists looked just like mine. 'She must not have tried to as soon as I did. I will need to ask her when I can.' My thoughts were interrupted by Hunk bring in the rest of the team.

Romelle was the first person to examen Pidge. I looked at her questionably. She was curious but this seemed that she knew more then she lead on. She turned to Allura and shock her head about what I wasn't quite sure.

"No one touches her, and I don't want to hear any questions about why I say this. I will let you know after I tell Pidge." Allura turned and walked out the door with Romelle right behind her.

"What was that about?" Hunk questioned as he looked at where Allura once was.

"At this point, we will never know what is going on," Keith said snobby.

"What did you just say?! If you don't believe she will make it then leave! I saw what she was stuck out there in! You have no idea what she has been through!" I yelled back at him. How could he not belive in our friend, no family? She was as much a part of Voltron as the rest of us.

"Oh, and you know any better? I lost Shiro just as she lost her father and her brother! Do you really know how it feels to think that they are gone forever?! No, Lance, you don't! I have seen what she has been through! She can if she really tried! I know she is tired of fighting this war when she has nothing left to lose! She doesn't want to keep fighting! Don't you understand that! What we say can't change the situation, we can't give her strength! It is not possible!"

"I don't know what it feels like to think that my family is gone. But not even you know how she feels or what she has been through. No one does. Sorry, Pidge if you can hear us. Did you know that she has been trying to commit suicide? No, you probably didn't." He quieted down so I could tell that he didn't know. "I know she is tired. I was thinking about all she must have gone through and what she must be feeling. She might not think she has anything to lose but I hope she knows that I will lose a lot if she just gives up. I know a lot of us will lose a lot she is family. I don't understand very much but I do know what it feels like to try and commit suicide." I lifted my sleeve to reveal my scars. "It is because of Pidge and Hunk that I have stopped. They helped me more then they will ever know. They always make fun of me and make me laugh. They are my best friends. They are smart but no matter how smart they are they still do stupid things with me. They helped me realize that I am just as important as everyone no matter what others say. They are helping me find myself unknowingly. Keith, I know you hurt too but we can't just give up, especially if it is on our friends. Things happen that we don't know about. We don't know what others are going through. The little things we say affect people for the worse or for the better, it just depends on what we say. As you know now even the happiest people can be in a lot of pain." I stopped talking when I realized Hunk left, probably to cook.

Keith started to back away slowly afraid I might give him another speech and run for his money. I smiled feeling a weight ging lifted off my shoulders. I then found a chair and sat in it. "Guess I am on watch duty."

Sorry for the long paragraphs. :D This is a lot ot take in even for me, so good luck. I feel good with this chapter. It really lifted a weight off my shoulders to write this. I have been on a roller coaster of emotion. Also, a lot of this inspiration came from KitKat12327. So, thank you for your help.
