Very Unexpected

*Eight weeks later*

"Any questions before I let you work in your groups?" Minnie asked and glanced out over the class she was currently teaching. One of the students raised their hand. "Yes, miss Montgomery?"

"When we have finished, should we continue working with the questions on page 93?"

"Yes, miss Montgomery. If you make it that far, you may continue with the questions on page 93," Minnie chuckled lightly. Carla Montgomery reminded Minnie a lot of herself in high school. Always wanting to be one step ahead of everyone.

The students began their work in their groups and Minnie sat down a her desk, grading some papers. Since she was working at her old high school, many memories came floating back to her when she walked down the halls and into certain classrooms. Like the one she had been assigned to have her history class in this year for example. That was the very room where her and Christopher had first met.

"Miss Caliente, principal Black wants to see you in his office," Minnie's teacher had said.

Minnie took a deep breath before she stood up and left her biology class. Everyone of her classmates watched as she left the room. She nervously walked down the hall and rounded the corner to the principal's office.

"Miss Caliente, take a seat," principal Black had greeted her.

Minnie sat down and wondered if she was in any kind of trouble.

"I'm sure you are wondering why you are here,"  Mr Black began. "I've heard from Mr Donovan that you preform excellent in math and would gladly like to offer you a spot in the advanced math class instead." Mr Black had smiled at her.

"The advanced group?" Minnie had asked.

"Yes, Mr Donovan told me that you would be the perfect challenge for you to join that class."

"Okay, thank you for the offer."

So, after lunch, Minnie walked to the new classroom. The door was locked, so she waited outside. A girl approached her and introduced herself as Jolene. They were talking for a little while as more students gathered around the door. A few of them talked to her and they were really nice people.

Soon, the teacher came and let everyone in. Minnie quickly took a seat at the third row. The teacher was just about to start the class when the door opened. When Minnie looked up if felt like time stopped.

In walked a guy with dark hair, dark eyes and dressed in all black. The guy was by far the hottest guy that Minnie had ever laid her eyes on.

"Mr Dolan. How nice of you to join us," the teacher, Mr Harrison sarcastically said.

"Pleasure's all mine," the guy had replied as he took the seat behind Minnie. From behind her, Minnie could hear him do some handshake-thing with the guy next to him, and also with the guy next to Minnie. Mr Harrison began teaching and then he gave the class their first assignment.

"I want you to work in a group of four and discuss and solve these questions together."

Minnie looked over to where Jolene sat, but she already had formed a group with the people sitting closest to her. Minnie desperately looked around and tried to find someone else that she had talked to before class, but everyone seemed taken.

"Wanna join?" the guy on Minnie's right asked, who had formed a group with the guy behind her and the guy behind him.

"Sure," Minnie smiled at the guy next to her. She then turned around and faced the hot guy behind her.

"I'm Jonas," the guy next to her introduced himself. "And that's Liam and Chris, or Christopher," Jonas pointed to the other guys. Minnie learned that the hot guy was named Christopher. She found it very hard to look at him, since his gaze made her blush and  she was scared that she'd  stare for too long if she let her eyes land on him. So she kept her eyes mostly on Jonas and Liam. She caught Christopher keeping his gaze at her though.

"I'm Minnie," she introduced herself.

"Minnie? Like Minnie mouse?" Liam chuckled.

"My parents liked the name," Minnie shrugged.

The group decided that they were going to try solving the problems by themselves first before discussing and comparing their answers with each other.  Minnie had turned back around to work by her own table. Suddenly she heard whispers behind her.

"Dolan, the answer to question 3 is 456, right?" Liam whispered to Christopher.

"No, it's 101," Christopher replied.

"How can it be f***ing 101?"

*Short pause*

"You didn't divide properly."

Minnie couldn't help but to smile. They were very entertaining.

"I don't believe you."

"Let's ask a pro then."

Three seconds later, someone kicked Minnie's chair, which made the 7 she was currently writing look like anything but. She slowly turned around and faced Christopher's dangerously gorgeous eyes.

"Yes?" she tried to look annoyed.

"The answer to question 3 is 101, right?" his eyes really were dangerous to look at. It was so easy to get stuck in them.

"No, it's 456," Liam said.

"Actually it's 688," Minnie and Jonas said in unison.

Minnie couldn't help but chuckle at Christopher's and Liam's expressions.

Jonas began explaining what Liam and Christopher had done wrong and Minnie smiled as she watched them try to understand.

"So, welcome to math class, Minnie," Christopher had said when class was over. He had even winked at her and Minnie had blushed.

"Miss Caliente?" Minnie returned to reality and faced her student Kara Norman.

"Yes?"

"We're finished," Kara explained.

"Oh, good," Minnie said and felt a little dizzy all of a sudden.

"Are you okay, Miss Caliente? You look pale," Kara asked right before Minnie felt her breakfast rise from her stomach and she made a run for the nearest bathroom.

"Miss Caliente? Are you okay?" Minnie heard two of her students outside the bathroom stall she was currently throwing up in.

"I'm fine. It's probably something I ate," she croaked.

"Maybe that, or you might have morning sickness. When did you last have your period?" Kara asked.

Minnie tried really hard to remember her last period. She knew it was late, but had thought that it might be the stress at work delaying it.

"I don't know," Minnie sighted.

"Well, have you had sex recently?"

"Kara! That's not appropriate to ask a teacher," Carolyn said.

"Sorry, ms Caliente. My mum is a doctor and she always asks me these personal questions," Kara apologized.

"It's okay. Go back to class, girls. I'll be right there," Minnie told them.

She heard their steps and then the door opening and closing. Minnie opened the door to her stall and washed herself off. Then she met her own eyes in the mirror. That's when she began panicking.

She couldn't be.

Or could she?
