Stepping outside I look all-around at the little town of wers. For a moment I say nothing. Reuben stands silently beside me awaiting my words. With a profound sign, my words come forward in a tone that does cause the young alpha to gaze up to me. "Crimson has informed you of everything. Of his true origin, his true name, his mother, her favorite charge, and what is to come."

His response was laden with heavy awareness filled with melancholy. From my peripheral, Reuben's  gaze momentarily no longer searches for mine."Yes, Goddess. He has" Instead it goes groundward. His own aura demonstrates he knows what is to come.

"You must not interfere." Shocked, Reuben's head snaps up off the round and its tan brown gravel, to me. I also meet his. "GODDESS PLEASE! SHE IS FAMILY. DO NOT ASK THIS OF ME." Yet, as our gaze connect, I can see even Necromio, knowing why I say this, is in agreement with Reuben, they will intervene with fate. The young Alpha's eyes burn luminescence forest green.

"Because young alpha. It is the sacrifice Estrella and Cary offered to keep her children safe, to repay the sacrifice of another mother and father's for their sole cub, return two lost wulves, to repay the sacrifice of her Beta, and. To aid the next celestial Guardian of the constellation and......" my form illuminated, expresses my own emotional state. THIS WAS DONE WITH HONOR REUBEN. She has done all this ALPHA, ........ As a mother." A finality in my tone.

His eyes lose their glow. Necromio understood. Reuben did as well but he his human prone to surrender to their emotions. Placing an arm across his shoulder, I gently guide us away from the porch. Within my aura, all is suppressed.

Here, Nothing can penetrate. Even the power of the mate bond, unifying his soul with Alejandro's is suppressed. For it was I, at the request of Olofi (all-father) who created it. Reuben begins sniffling "no," he says. Reuben's tone tells me I must act.

Looking at me, I see the emotional turmoil he is faced with. I feel the angry emotions and the growing pain within "She is family. She is my mother-in-law." His burn ferociously in a second with ethereal forest green fire. Then he roars in anger "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" still no one hears him.

Reaching to the astral world instantly I grab Necromio by his scruff. Yanking him to open his closed eyelids and turned downwards head. To look to me "YOU WILL NOT!!!" warning him of his gift, the destruction he will create.

"YOU ARE A CELESTIAL GUARDIAN ALPHA NECROMIO! YOU & YOU ALONE BARE THE WEIGHT OF THIS TRUTH! HOWEVER, IT IS YOUR OBLIGATION TO PROTECT. IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO MOURN. BUT. YOU MAY NOT TAKE INNOCENT LIVES!" It was all I needed to say.

Ochum snaps me out of my emotional state on the astral plain as she caressed Reuben to her breasts. "Goddess. Estrella is a powerful part of my heart. She is beyond that of a guardian in my eyes. Why?"

My tone calms "I too am conflicted Necromio. But Estrella will protect with a mother's blind ferocity. It is her right. IT was HER decision." my response calms him.

"And my mates? What of them?"

"They will heal in time. But for now. So he remains calm. You must influence your human soul companion at all times. You are both unified. So too is the power you harbor. He will need more of you Necromio."

Hearing her words. I understood. To Reuben, the family is everything. But he will be distraught seeing Alejandro anguishing unable to heal him. I stare at the goddess "and mother? Will she..."

she interrupts "Oya is being consoled by none other than our father. She is also preparing for war Necromio. Your mother will walk the earth to aid Estrella's cubs and the pack."

Silent, remaining pensive at this fact. As the prophecy was foretold. I. am the key. I understood. Our combined powers will place the earth in peril. All life will perish. With a nod, Oshun releases her hold on me. A gentle grin appears to me. Her astral form's power diminishes. "You are Alpha Necromio. Wise beyond your current years. DO as you must. Preserve life."

Returning to the material plane I hear the wails of the Alpha human Reuben. They move me to my very core. My arms around his form press him closer to me as my words, of little comfort they may be for what will transpire, come forth. "You are allowed this mourning young alpha. But at the moment you must remember who you are. Your mate will need you more than ever. Be patient. He will return to who you have known him to be. But he will be lost for a time. Until the new Constellation celestial Guardian emerges."

Pulling back, my red face and puffy eyes connect with her gaze. "Is there no other way Goddess?" I ask her. Ever so softly, Oshun rubs away the saline water which has fallen from my eyes and moistened my face. Silently she nods no. Crimson begins wulf speaking.

But instead his voice, within the luminescent sphere Oshun has created, sounds like he is standing physically with us. "It is her will to protect her cubs, Reuben. We will respect and honor it." My chest felt tightening, threatens to engulf me. Until he does something I did not expect him capable of.

" I will bear the weight of your suffering, suppressing it into my own being." With nothing more needed to be said. Oshun places her hand on my head and a warm current begins flowing through my being.

With her touch a calmness flows into me, enveloping me completely. The redness in my face and puffiness of my eyes clears. I feel a knot in my chest weaken, losing its hold on me. When she removes her hand, I am at peace. Whether I like it or not, this will come to pass. As Alpha, I must be focused. Ready. As husband and mate. I will not fail my mulato. Again.

Looking to the goddess, Her modest smile at me, I nod. Leaning forward she kisses my forehead. "Reuben. There is a small matter I personally wish to speak of."My head tilts, with eyebrows lifting. Curious at what else I will face "Yes Oshun."

Her tone, briefly turns a soft contented "I am proud you are pursuing beta's idea of a certain... shall we say human custom?." singing Wedding chimes "da. Da. da duuum." slightly lifting my spirit. Causing me to huff a chuckling smile, flushing ever so slightly red. "Yes, goddess."

" Till we meet again my young alpha." Having remained within her sphere of celestial brilliant energy, she fades. The evenings night light diminishes her celestial essence. Till she is gone.
