Lenalee squinted at the sunlight through the window. Iris was already up and fold her clothes. Lenalee stared at Iris's face. She was emotionless. Lenalee couldn't imagine her smiling like in the dream. Iris notice Lenalee staring and looked at her. Lenalee smiled nervously and got out of bed to start the day.

They boarded the train after breakfast. Allen, Lavi, Iris, and Lenalee sat together while Kanda sat away from them. It was a long ride. Iris said nothing as the others were catching up. Allen's eyes flicked from them to Iris from time to time, but said nothing about her.

The dream from last night nagged Lenalee and she started to fidget. Allen cocked his head. "Lenalee, are you alright?" he asked. Lenalee nodded, but Allen still had a look of worry on his face. The train ride had continued in silence until they got there.

As soon as they got off the train, they could hear screaming. They all bolted off into town. Level 3 Akumas had surrounded the town and were killing people. Each one of them activated their Innocence except for Iris. The Akuma took little notice of her. They hissed at the exorcists and began attacking them instead. There were too many. "Iris! Activate your Innocence!" Kanda screamed. Iris only glared at him. "Ah, an exorcist are you? I will take much pleasure in killing you!" one Akuma said and charged. Iris quickly dodged its attack and sped off into Allen's direction. "Allen!" she yelled. Allen quickly turned around and with a single sweep of his hand, the Akuma exploded.

The other Akuma started to take notice of Iris and started after her. "Iris, run! There are too many to hold off for long!" Allen yelled. Iris shook her head. "They'll just find me! Besides, it won't hurt me again." she answered. What were they talking about, Lenalee wondered. Allen said something that Lenalee couldn't hear but there was a grave look on his face. The Akuma closed in and Lenalee could hear only 2 words from Iris.

"Innocence, activate"
