Mature themes mentioned in this chapter >;D

The day flew fast, even for (Y/N) who was so used to living in a moving routine. She had Irene curl her hair before she left, making her job ten times easier because no one knew their way around a curler better than Irene. Even Arisa, the professional cosmetologist, had given her praise, but Irene (despite her personality) was always shy about it.

The dressing room was chaotic.

Storms of dancers were running around everywhere, stretching or attempting their makeup at the vanity sets. (Y/N) walked over to hers and was surprised by a vase of sunflowers blocking her mirror. She gingerly picked up the little envelope and read the note inside.

"Dance your heart out and break a leg, my little sun <3"

The note wasn't signed but it didn't need to be, Jin's pet name for her being more than enough. She ran her pointer finger over the petals of one of them and sighed happily, finally relaxing into the tense atmosphere. Even though she was in the first opening number, she was only in four more after that, her solo, another group number, her other duet with Chan and the duet she was supposed to do with the guest dancer.

The opening and one of her personal favorite numbers is ' Welcome to Burlesque'. One of the milder dances she will be performing tonight. Her costume was that of a ring leader, with a lot of bling, fishnet stockings and character heels in the form of lace-up boots.

It was definitely more skin than (Y/N) was used to revealing, (not to mention her other outfits) and to put the humor above it all, was that she had never told the girl's or Jin, the extent of the theme's influence over the dances and costumes; and suppose this time it was going to work in her favor.

That also meant her makeup had to be redone four different times and she doesn't know how her skin has held up all this time.

The theme of this particular tour was burlesque/ sexuality, the good and the evil of it. (The attendants of this dance tour was specifically 18+ because of it, not that it stopped ticket sales. After their first show, every stage was sold out.)

Her first makeup look was an in a word, simple since the outfit did most of the talking. Just a dark, sharp wing eyeliner and shimmery, gooey lipstick. She stretched on the floor, feeling the butterflies bounce around in her stomach.

"Damn girl. Who's the lucky man you all dressed up for?" the playful voice had her eyes roll to the back of her head.
